When I received it, I honestly had my doubts. It's very small and I was being plagued by house flies. I was worried they wouldn't fly through the narrow grating. But after one night, it had 5-6 dead or dying flies in there. Today was the first day I didn't have one practically ricochet off my face and I've only seen maybe one that remains at large.Very happy.

I got this because it's nice to have a window or two open during the summer, but last year with the heat I thought the bugs were going to eat me alive so I've bought this to stop it from happening this year.So far it's only caught the smaller black bugs and a couple of houseflies, it makes a satisfying crack when it gets them, I expect as it gets warmer it'll start zapping more and more of the bugs that start to fly through the window trying to feast on me! The cat is also prepared for this years moth season and I hope the zapper will get the stuff she can't!

I bought this feeling a bit sceptical as we'd tried a mini UV killer before which was useless. This one sits in a dark corner of the kitchen and zaps away happily. Some people have complained of the ZAP noise but I like it as you know its working. A large bluebottle makes a particularly satisfying couple of zaps. A lot of the flies do fall out onto the counter so you need to clean around it but that's a small price to pay. The price makes it excellent value and after using all summer. Great little purchase.

We live in a semi-rural area and occasionally the farmer loves to spread muck in the fields, that plus our spaniel on a raw food chicken diet leaving scraps of chicken on the lawn means that flies often come our way! This and those pesky daddy long legs dancing around our living room!Anyway thought we'd give this a whirl and my god, It makes a great little ZAP every time an insect flies into it. We've only just got it and its already cleared our house from the little buzzy things mooching around unwelcomed.

I have been plagued by flies this year (up to 30 at one point in one room) I even checked under my cooker to see if perhaps something had crawled in and died underneath. They seem to be immune to the fly killer spray and I didn't want to keep using that because of my dogs. This machine has been fantastic, plug it in, switch it on, nice blue light and once the bug flies into the light, you get a nice loud bang and no more bug!! I still have a few bugs, but they are now down to normal levels, thankfully!!

As I have a field behind my house with a small stream running through it, we get lots of flies in summer. I have tried every product to try and eradicate the problem, i decided to try this. This zapper has worked amazingly, the first night it was up it zapped loads...i mean LOADS!! This is by far the best thing i have bought to sort out the problem. I would recommend this to anyone who has the same problem. The only down side is the smell the big buggers give off, its not nice (however, i do smile every time i hear it crack with the sound of death) but doesn’t last long. Well worth the price, I'd still buy it again. The money it cost VS the other products is nothing compared to the wasted cash on other products that dont even kill a 1/4 of the flies this monster does. Get one, you wont be disappointed!!
