One side is the standard soft rubber touch type2. In a nutshell, surprisingly good screen quality, snappy performance on the web, video chats and some games.The UMIDIGI G1 Tab Kids is a capable tablet with surprisingly snappy performance that offers a lot of features for kids and adults but I think it's really excellent for seniors. It has a large, bright and surprisingly clear and colorful display, plenty of memory and a big battery. And it also comes with a tough protective case (mine's pink!).On the software side there are the parental controls. These controls allow you to restrict access to certain apps and websites, set screen time limits, and even track location. This is a great way to keep your child (or senior) safe and ensure that they are using the tablet in a responsible way.Here are some of the pros and cons of the UMIDIGI G1 Tab:Pros:-10.1-inch display (shockingly good)-8GB of RAM-64GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD card-Long-lasting 6000mAh battery-Front-facing and rear-facing cameras-wifi 6 (good to 4gig/sec but I only have 200 mb)-Protective case (hot pink or blue)-Parental controls-Pre-loaded educational apps and gamesCons:-No stylus-No fingerprint sensor-The power button and volume controls are recessed far enough into the case so you might need a pencil unless you have really skinny fingers.-Some apps may not be compatible for example, Zedge wallpaper always misaligns.-Sub-par 3D performance so don't try Call of Duty on it but it played most games fine for me and even some 3D ones. For example, I tried Rebel Racing by Hutch and it played smooth as glass and looked fabulous! The screen quality is really exceptional. Audio quality and volume is also quite strong. That's a big plus for seniors!-Quality of the cameras is acceptable but not great but you can video chat just fine. But really what do you expect for a hundred bucks? Again, I can't emphasize the screen enough. The screen is the big selling point.Overall, I would recommend the UMIDIGI G1 Tab Kids to anyone looking for a safe and fun tablet. It is well-made with a bright clear screen that's great for seniors, long battery life and a variety of features that make it perfect for anyone as long as high 3D graphic performance isn't required.I consider it a must-buy at this price point.

The media could not be loaded.  this tablet is of poor quality compared to what is stated. it freezes ALL the time. it will fail to load games or just lock up completely. if you plan to get this for your child be warned that you better make sure to get a really long charging cable for it because the battery life is terrible. lucky if it lasts 1 hour unplugged.the tablet is also NOT 8GB of ram. its only 4GB and you can choose to use an additional 4GB of hard drive space to give it more however this does absolutely nothing for performance as its emulated not hardware.lastly something this tablet has on it that isn't talked about in specs, reviews or even on the manufacturers website is the little hidden camera on the front. not the main one you see on top but where the notch is taken out of the foam cover there is what looks like another camera.*update*The company saw the review and have been messaging me to send videos of the defect to an email address along with personal information. This is a breach of policy and will be reported as such. Be extremely careful with this company.

Muy bonita y la funda es de buen material , es resistente

Una semana después de que la recibí comenzó a fallar. El indicador de carga decía que estaba al 100%, pero al prenderla, ya desconectada de la corriente, un minuto después se apagaba y mandaba el mensaje de que no había carga suficiente. Ya la devolví.

At first, I thought that it you be a good tablet for kids, but it ended up that I used it more than the kids mainly after they go to bed, it is as good for kids as for adults. The tablet was very easy to set up, the display was huge enough to watch TV, Series, Movies or any other media content. It comes with some apps preloaded and it is very easy to add new ones via the Google Play Store, there is plenty of space on the tablet by default (64Gb). And in case this is not enough then you can add a micro SD card into it. The Wi-Fi has very good coverage and speedy connectivity. The rugged case included is drop-proof for most situations and can also be used to put the tablet angled. At that price, I was also very impressed with the 2 cameras (back & front) very good for taking pictures, videos or doing conference calls. The battery life is very good between 7 to 12 hours depending on the use.In terms of performance, the tablet has enough RAM ( 4 + 4 ) for common tasks and offers adequate storage capacity. The Android 13 operating system combined with the RK3562 Quad-Core chip makes the tablet very responsive and smooth, providing a pleasant user experience. I recommend this tablet to every family with kids or not :)

Bought this at Christmas time for my 8 year old son who previously had a Samsung, didn't want to pay as much this time round and glad I didn't this tablet is perfect for him, not slow at all and the case is an added bonus

The quality of this product is amazing I would 100% buy this again.
