Q: Do you still need to wrap baby in a blanket or is the pod sufficient for keeping warm?

It depends on the climate where you live and the time of year. Our baby was born in the fall (one year ago today actually!) and we would usually put another swaddle on top like the miracle blanket. My sister-in-law had her baby in the summer and used these pods and didnt need to double swaddle. These pods are GREAT! They are the #1 newborn must have for us. You won't regret getting them!

Q: What is under the zipper? Is there some kind of wrap underneath? I dont like that feature so hoping it doesnt.
