These roof racks are surprisingly easy to install and the clamps seem to hold onto the roof rails strongly. The clamps are also coated in rubber so they do not scratch the painted rails. The locks and plastic covers on the outside are fairly cheap feeling, time will tell how long they last. The size is perfect for our 2021 XC40, they fit perfectly. Cross bars are sturdy, hardware is good quality, bolts attaching crossbars on the outside are stainless steel. No wind noise up to 75 mph highway speeds in the position that I mounted them. Overall, for the price, they are a good purchase.

Just installed these on my new 2024 XC40. They fit but I had an issue locking one of the bars. I was about to reach out to the seller but decided to move the front bar from 12" back to about 17" from the start of the rail. That resolved the issue. I was also missing a screw but had another of the same size handy. The bars feel very sturdy and considering the official Volvo bars are over 4X the price this is a good deal.

These are great! For the price, definitely a good buy. My only issue was the tool included stripped before I could tighten the screws enough to stay put. That being said, I had the tool I needed, but plan for that. For install, once you unlock the key, pull up on weight text to get the cap off.

These fit my Volvo XC 40 and locked in place” for my multi state journey. I found a lock cover was up once, not sure if that was me, a villain or the wind. They sit high but no obnoxiously so. I would recommend them.
