5 GOLD STARS FOR QUALITY
I had to return them because they wouldn’t stay on the wall. No fault of the manufacturer.

Falls off shower wall within 2 minutes
They attached to the wall so easily. I thought this would be a wonderful product. My wife got into the shower with her broken ankle. As she was showering the grab bars fell off the wall. I tried to re-attach and they again appeared to have a nice firm grip. One fell off again within about a minute. I removed the other one that was also coming loose but hadn't fallen yet. I can't imagine what would have happened if my wife was ready to use them and they came loose in her hands. I'm sure she would have fallen. What makes matters worse is that we are stuck with them because the return window expired. She didn't get the go-ahead to shower until after the return window expired. Don't buy these. You could be sorry with an injury.

So far rock solid on plastic tub walls
1/14/24 Still satisfied with these suction handles. Updating to add to remind people to please check to make sure that they are still attached before each use. It's been about 5 weeks, and one of the suction cups came loose. I simply pushed up and pushed down the tab, and it was good to go.I also added a tub grab bar that clamps on to the side of the tub. I placed it just in front (closer to faucet) of the tub chair, which has handles as well but are kind of low. It just gives the person another handle option. Downside is that the tub handle is pricey, and also makes that front area of the tub a little bit crowded with the tub chair and the chair handles. There are several different brands of tub handles. But I got this one in white. As the tub is also plastic/acrylic, I hope it doesn't damage tub. I was careful not to over-tighten the clamp.Medline Deluxe Plastic Tub Grab Bar, Microban Protection, 250lb Weight Capacity, Grey https://a.co/d/3IvqSNZ‐-------------I was really worried given the poor reviews, but I needed something for an elderly relative to hold on to in order for the tub to be safe. The tub enclosure is plastic (? or something similar)--or at least not tile.I rinsed off the suction cups before I applied it to the walls. And it's been solidly attached for several weeks now. (Hope this doesn't jinx it). These handles plus a chair with handles in the tub over a non-slip tub mat, and a hand-held shower head, makes bathing possible. I, of course, have to assist.

Almost perfect.
Bought these a little while back and am not completely disappointed but they could be better. Our shower walls are tile and while these bars are easy to apply, they sometimes lose their suction on one end or the other and it could be as long as a week apart or a couple days apart. It's not a big issue if you just remind yourself to check the stability of them before stepping into the shower. You just need to open, then re-click the suction tab and they are set again, takes literally 10 seconds. They do hold up well, and offer balance support but remember, they are not designed to "hold up your weight". You would need anchored bars for that. Good buy for the money.

They’re okay
Of the 2 in the pack one works solidly, the other one doesn’t work properly, only one end has suction.

These are a great
These grab bars are excellent. They stick to the surface and stay there. I would not be without them and bring at least two with me when I travel.

Potentially very dangerous
I ordered these as a temporary, no-drill solution for stability in the bathroom after a knee and hip injury. One I initially tried beside the toilet, but thought it might not work because the wall is painted drywall. It stuck for about 5 minutes, then fell.Tried one in the bathtub on the acrylic surround. Worked to pull toward, but with any downward pressure, it slipped down the wall. It was also laying in the tub the next morning.Tried in the shower, both on the glass door and the acrylic walls. Same issue with slippage, and again, was on the shower floor in the morning. In all instances, I tried multiple applications. Dry, wet, cleaned area with alcohol, even as a last resort tried warming the suction with a blow dryer on low.If I had trusted it to support me in any way, I would have fallen. Please do not trust this to support your elderly or disabled loved ones. They're just not secure at all.
