Great value and worth paying a few penny more for each plug.
These are very good, strong and rated for their strength, great size and works well on brick and concrete. Very easy to use with appropriate size hole. Considering reliability and strength it's value for money even though it's more expensive than the chape brown plugs.

Perfect for new build style dot and dab walls.
UK based, recent new build with dot and dab walls, these are the perfect fixings, easy to use, and give a good firm grip, I've not had a single one fail/slip. There isn't a great deal of choice for plugs for dot and dab walls; where there is an air gap between the plaster and the blockwork. These are long enough to bridge the void and embed in to the blockwork behind. My most recent project was half a wall of internal cladding to give a "cloak room" look to the entrance space. I used these screws: ForgeFix Multi-Purpose Single Thread Screws | 4.5 x 60mm I tend to use the 6x50mm plugs for smaller items, (pictures, towel holder, internal cladding, panelling etc. Anything heavier I use the 8mm plugs of the same brand. In case it’s not obvious, you need a 6mm masonry bit for 6mm plugs.

Great Quality, Work Very Well
I’ve bought and used these before and they work really well. Work slightly different to other wall plugs but gives a great grip in a wide variety of materials. Just make sure you follow their instructions. They tell which drill bit size to use; it’s written on the side of the plug as well as on the box. Drill the hole deeper than the plug length; again on the box for min. length. Clean out the hole, brush or vacuum. Use the right size of screw, which must be long enough, longer than the plug; again details on the box. Great product. Photos are general Fischer Duo but show how much I trust them.

Brilliant plugs
These are so much better than cheap plugs, they don’t bend or snap and hold the screw firmly, slightly more expensive but save a lot of time!

Best plugs going for ease of use and strength.
Just love these Fischer Duopower plugs, they are my go to plugs for any type of wall. They function as multiple plugs in one, lots of different sizes to pick from, I have a whole selection of them, probably the best plugs I have used over the last 45 years. Nice and easy to use, quick hole drilled out, pop one of these in, add braket etc. and tighten the screw nice and tight for a good solid base to work with. Plus these plugs will hold a great deal of weight, if like me you wait until they are on offer before topping up plug box then they are great value.
