I purchased these after reading several articles about fabric softener making gym clothes stink more. So a little research here on amazon and I found these. They do soften clothes, but there is static cling happening. More so with the synthetic items (gym clothes), than some of my cotton items.They are quiet in the dryer. they start out a little noisy but quiet down as they warm up.Clothes are soft.My clothes come out with static cling. This might be because of it is winter here in the midwest. I am going to keep using them and maybe start putting a 1/2 or 1/4 dryer sheet in to.

These seem to work as well as the wool dryer balls I have used in the past, but the plastic (probably necessary to survive the high heat in a typical dryer) is HARD and the resulting sound festival in the dryer can be LOUD depending on what types of items you are drying.Similar to wool dryer balls, static cling control is iffy. I just give my clothes a good snap as I fold them, and most of the static is gone. It is an acceptable trade-off to having my clothing coated in a thin layer of chemicals (my understanding is dryer sheets and liquid fabric softeners work this way).I simply take them out if I am using the dryer later in the evening when it might disturb someone.

Really pleased with how this product works! Before using them, I would have to run the dryer twice or more to get everything dry, but with them: 1 cycle (sometimes not even full length) and they’re dry! Expecting to see a difference in my energy consumption next month.

These were wonderful. I bought a pack of two so that I could try them out and loved them so much that I ordered more. There’s less static in my loads than when I used dryer sheets and my kids have sensitive skin so I’m always trying to be careful with what I put on their clothes. I would definitely recommend these.

I'm beyond happy with my purchase! I use these for every load and will say it keeps more wrinkles away and does exactly what they are intended for, if you're looking to get rid of fabric sheets or going organic this is a MUST for your laundry routine!

I use these when washing our down winter coats, they fluff the down perfectly, coats come out of the dryer looking as good as new.

These worked great for the first few loads, not worth the money

These are great. Reduced drying time. Not rock hard so they don't damage the dryer. Once they are warmed upbthey get quieter. Reduce Static.Update: Mine are nearly 3 years old. Bought April 2019. Updated posted Jan 2021. None of them have cracked.

Estoy seguro que hacen su papel, pero para mi gusto hacen demasiado ruido, pensé que eran de goma blanda y no lo son.

Funciona excelente para reducir el tiempo de secado, si son algo ruidosas pero también reducen la estática, de cualquier forma me gusta usar suavizante. Compré 2 de otra marca y no sentí que fueran tan útiles pero estás si.
