Truly hand produced.....Please read full production method notes before purchase.* Signed first editions: Set on a 1970's Lincolnshire farm, 11-year-old Daft Harry and his 13-year-old, spiteful, tomboy sister Lou, have many humorous adventures. In these two tales of trickery, Harry comes up with a hare-brained scheme to play a prank on Lou, after she caught him out and labelled him a massive April fool, earlier in the year. The April prank was initiated when a sleepy Harry, tucked up in bed, was told that a helicopter had landed in the paddock. With his huge love of aircraft, the pyjama-clad juvenile was down the stairs in a shot. Things go pear-shaped for Harry as he tries to race Lou to the expected landing site. Harry gets tangled in his PJ's and during a headlong trip on the wet grass, realizes that his trajectory is directly in line with a massive cow pat, left by a careless cow... As usual, Harry somehow turns the situation into an adventure to be envied.....but how?? In the second story, Harry plans a revenge trick on Lou. He tries to convince her that a snowman has come to life!...During his complicated scheme, Harry makes a hollow copy of Enadrongo the snowman, which they had built together a day or two beforehand. His idea is to mount 'Enadrongo the clone' on a sledge, tow it outside Lou's bedroom window on Christmas Eve and climb inside the hollow snowsuit! The final part of the performance will be to wave at Lou and then move off downslope, bringing her outside to chase "The living snowman". All goes well until Harry realizes that the sledge will not stop and he is trapped inside. As the speeding sarcophagus motors downhill, can Harry somehow come up a plan to save his neck and even, come up smelling of roses?
