In 2003, a parasitic fungal infection ravages the planet, turning humans into violent creatures known as the Infected. Twenty years later, hardened survivor Joel (Pedro Pascal) is hired to smuggle 14-year-old Ellie (Bella Ramsey) out of an oppressive quarantine zone in hopes of delivering her to the rebel Fireflies. But what should be a quick job soon becomes a brutal and heartbreaking journey as they traverse a desolate U.S. – while depending on each other’s unique skills for survival. Created, written, and executive produced by Emmy® winner Craig Mazin (HBO’s Chernobyl) and Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann, this riveting series brings the acclaimed video game to life, painting a grim vision of the future of humanity – and the lives of those who would risk everything to save it.

This would appeal to people under 25 I expect and older viewers.
This is a HBO series so the episodes are quite lengthy about 50 minutes per episode. Also this TV series features a lot of bloody scenes in it , and gory scenes too. It's like the walking dead series where it follows a few main characters and puts in some a lot of the Zombie stuff in it to make it more dramatic. In this Last Of us TV series it has different creatures in it that are not Zombies. It takes place after a nuclear explosion and the main characters have to make there way through deserted land and or landscape areas whilst coming up against the creatures in various episodes. It would of benefited more as a feature film series more than a television series as the Last of us has a lot more character development scenes in it. The cast in this is mostly unknown apart from the lead actor who played the title character in the Mandalorian TV series. This is a fairly good TV series with quite a lot of character driven scenes in it and some action scenes where you have the main characters in jeopardy. The episodes themselves are a bit of a hit or miss quality to them some episodes of this TV series are better than other ones in the series. For those of us old enough to remember earlier video game adaptations like Mortal Kombat and the street fighter film, I think this TV show is probably better than both of those ones.
