The unit received was for a receiver that continually disconnected from the transmitter due to conflicts with other WIFI channels. The replacement unit always the channels to be changed to resolve any conflicts. However, on occasion the transmitter would flash off and on. After hitting the reset button, the unit returned to normal operation. I am reaching out to J-Tech to see if the purchased unit is right for my environment. I have it connected to home security camera and the unit is always on. Possibly the unit was not meant for that type environment.

First, we had high hopes after reading all the reviews. Product does work but the sloppy construction of the products gets the star drops. The kit does transmit and receive as hoped but the antennas will not stay in place. The lugs are loose (internal and external to both transmitter and receiver) and will not allow the antennas to stay in position. Tried to tighten the nut at the housing did not correct the issue, so the antenna flop down when attached and are appear loose. The upside is the units do work but be aware of the antennas.

Years ago I had a device that let me transmit a TV signal through the wall into the set in the bedroom. That product was discontinued, but I was delighted when I found the J-tech digital device. My only complaint is that the tiny "instruction" booklet that came with it was really of no help, and I couldn't get the device to work. But I sent an email to customer service and the next day had a reply with detailed instructions, including a diagram. I was able to easily see what I was doing wrong and correct it and I've never had a minute's trouble with it in the month or so I've had it hooked up.

So purchased due to previous unit was pretty much junk different manufacturer, so connected fine but only about 12 feet to do so, as far as lag it's pretty bad way more than the spec. The only issue is the picture quality I have it hooked to a hd satellite and displays fine on the loop pass through but on the RX tv I'd have to say pretty poor quality maybe less than a 720 quality but not broken or jittery like the last.Update changed to 2 stars after a few days use, so picture quality still poor but I have found that it does interfere with my WIFI, when I use the HDMI wireless my WIFI signal gets slower when I unplug the HDMI transmitter the WIFI goes back to normal, I've tried different channels on the HDMI set to see if it made a difference and it does, WIFI gets slightly better but I get even a worse picture when I use those channels. Not sure if I am going to keep it at this point as I need the wifi to stream movies but the HDMI slows it down to the point that I can't stream video. another update the IR passthrough does not work.
