At the front, you can pull out the opening with a handle. (See image) The whelping box is made entirely of screen printing plate and completely waterproof. The floor is made of solid screen printing plate in 8.39 inch. thickness. NO sagging possible from ground. The whelping box is shipped in parts and is very easy to install it a few minutes. Should the whelping box is no longer needed, you can remove it again and easily stowed. Options: 16 inch x 16 inch 20 inch x 20 inch 24 inch x 24 inch All options (including bottom sidewalls) have a thickness / thickness of 5.9 inch and a height of 8.39 inch. Always make sure you buy the right size for the breed of dog you want it for.
This was nice and solid, the only thing I found was that it wasn’t quite high enough to keep draughts out, which my chihuahuas need in the winter time. So I had to actually place it in the card board box it came in to make the sides higher. Apart from that it was good.
