If you’re American born in USA, you can hold the drum downward and play it to sound like a snare drum; to play more familiar music. And you can play it however you want to make different sounds. It came with a chain link missing but the man said he will send it to my house, so a simple wrench should get the job done. Very reasonable sales people. I honestly love the daf drum, it’s way funner to play it than it is to watch someone else play it on the internet. Especially if you have live musicians to play along with. In my opinion this instrument is a lot funner than a “box”/cajon for me and you can play along side another person with a cajon.
