The price for our 10lt food waste bags from Tesco has rocketed from £1.60 up to £3.25 almost overnight for a single 20 off roll. So we looked up on Amazon and found these. Ok they do not have fancy printing on them, look and feel thinner and seem bigger that the 10lt stated. BUT these might appear thinner but they are actually far stronger with excellent tear resistance. They don't have the fancy tie able wings on the top but still very easy to tie when full, and when opened up to fit into the small waste bin they open up as a square and fit nicely into the bin corners. Really well worth the money.

We’ve tried a lot of different food waste recycling bags, and these are by far the best. They fit our caddy perfectly — a little bit of overhang, but not so loose that the bag falls in when you’re tipping food inside. Other bags we’ve used were too tight and would tear, but these hold a good amount of food and weight with no issues. We’ve filled them quite heavily, including rinsed lettuce, sauces and bits of liquid, and they’ve never torn or leaked. We’ve been using them for around 12 months now on Subscribe & Save and they’ve been totally reliable. Excellent quality and well worth it. Would definitely recommend.

Fit our food bin well (6 litre for reference). Not convinced they are biodegradable as they seem too plasticky. Good value for the amount you get though. Good size as they hook over the edge of the food waste bin without dropping in everytime you put food in there. None have ever split despite being full. No handles to tie but the bit hooked over the top of the bin is enough to tie up the top with.

Impressed! Plenty large enough for the 10L caddy that the council provide and a lot bigger than the council's caddy liners. Excellent quality, thin but strong enough not to break when full. Easy to use and line the caddy, tear cleanly and are easy to remove from the roll. Excellent functionality.

Great bags. Leak proof. They don't disintegrate either. Good size for the caddy in kitchen. Holds a week's worth of scraps. Multipack is great value too. Perfect now we have been asked to separate food waste.

Great food waste bags. They are nice and thick so not so easy to tear open that food drops out or any liquids. Will certainly purchase them again.

These bags are shiny and not like the normal food recycling bags There reasonably strong and recyclable but I wasn't sure if they would take them because they don't look like the free ones. So I used them inside the others
