They are fine on both Kokanee and trout

How much weight can this carry

I haven't used this yet, but looking at it right now, I can say that I'd only run it with light lines, like 10 to 12 lb. test, for trolling small plugs like Rapalas or small lures like Mooselook wobblers or little rigs for kokanee. I wouldn't even run a dodger with it.

Will these work for striper fishing on lake

I'm sure they will work. I've used them for trout fishing on my downrigger on Lake Shasta and they worked well.

not sure what you mean by drone, but this clip is junk,,, trolled and caught 3 fish which could not release the clip ????
