Perfect replacement battery for DS Lite
Perfect swap out for the dead battery in my DS Lite from Christmas of 2008. Honestly, a pretty impressive run for the original battery. No issues with charging or battery life in the replacement. It functions exactly as the original Nintendo battery did. The DS lives on!

Its exactly what it claims to be
Installed super easily, it came with adhesive for installation which I wasn't expecting, but definitely needed and am glad it was in the box. The additional tools were helpful as well. Its mah is exactly what it states it is. Not just another cheap knockoff

Battery Dead; Wouldn't Take
So sadly wasn't able to work with it until after the return window (not product or seller's fault, life just happened) and so when I tried working with it, my Switch wasn't taking to it. The best I would get is a small flash of life on the screen showing full battery, then power off. And that was when I tried plugging it in to charge.Verified it wasn't the Switch. Even though the old battery doesn't last, it will still boot. Compared voltage, and even though my old battery still reaches 3.85V, the new one was only clocking in at 0.54V, and dropping quickly. What's worse, tried measuring the charge it was accepting, and it was only pulling about 1.1W, no matter what charger I used. So unfortunately I don't have a way to charge it up to spec, and I don't know if it's from sitting on the shelf too long or if the battery I got was bunk from the start.Hopefully others have better luck than me. Also worth mentioning the tools I received with mine were different than pictured; didn't have a suction puller, and adhesive strips weren't the removable kind. Also worth noting, no foam pad included for protection.

Satisfactory
Shipping was quick, took just 2-3 days to arrive. Installation was relatively easy, package came with the necessary tools for replacement. Old battery was giving me problems when it came to charging so it was finally time to replace it. I ran into a small cosmetic damage with the new battery's cable, most likely it was a manufacturing defect on the connector pins but once I managed to connect it and reassemble everything the system was running smoothly and no longer having the charging issue!

Got my joy cons working like new again
My Switch is a launch model, so it's getting pretty old at this point in terms of battery life. My joy cons really weren't holding a charge very well anymore, so it was definitely time to replace the batteries, and this set looked like they'd fit the bill. They came as pictured, with a set of tools to disassemble the joy cons with. I didn't use these tools, as I have a set of iFixit drivers that I use, so I won't speak to them. Typically, I don't trust free tools included in these things, and I strongly recommend investing in a known quality set like the iFixit drivers. The screws in these joy cons are very tiny, and very easy to completely obliterate if you're not careful. They can strip *so easily*, hence why I recommend quality tools. Use good tools, and don't be in a hurry, remove the screws slowly and carefully, and you'll be fine.Getting to the batteries in a joy con is vastly easier than replacing the shells, so for me this was a cake walk. The kit includes two adhesive strips, but the factory adhesive squares holding the original batteries in place remained in place within the joy cons, and were perfectly tacky still, so I just used those. the batteries fit reather snug within the joy cons, so you could conceivably get away without adhesive at all, but I tend to err on the side of best practices whenever possible. I also think the new adhesive strips might be a fair bit thicker than the original double-stick tape Nintendo used, and that might cause a clearance problem putting everything back together. Keep that in mind when you're installing these.Other than that, it was just a matter of closing it all back up and giving them a charge overnight. So far, so good. They've been working for a while now, the battery life seems to be as good if not better than the originals (it's been so long that I don't have a frame of reference for whether these last longer or not, but they last a decent amount of time so I'm going to believe they are the higher capacity that's advertised).Overall, solid value, I would recommend these batteries to anyone else.

Poor Life
Average battery time is less than 2 hours, not happy with this purchase at all seeing as the oem battery lasts 5-8 hours on average. Only purchase if your oem battery is bloated.
