Very small and fragile
Fell apart in less than an hour. The strings with the bead attachments fell off in less than an hour of opening the box and it is very tiny. I bought it for my 6 year old and watched him using it. He was not rough its just that cheaply made lol. You get what you pay for i guess but this seems more like a $1 toy

Make tiny drum sound!
This is labeled as a classic Indian Folk Damaru Drum, and perhaps the original tribe that played this musical instrument were very small people. But nevertheless, it worked for us, and it had a surprising volume. Make sure you read the description measurements though - it's a pretty small drum. As in, just slightly bigger than your ear drum.

Not an actual playable drum
The item is more a display item than an actual drum. It’s much smaller than an actual drum. The strings with beads don’t even impact the drum head when the drum is rotated. Complete waste of money. Unless you want a drum for an Indian diorama, then it might be perfect.

It would seem like it is cheap plastic not wood, very light and flimsy material, it is glued together. The chords are badly placed which makes playing the damru difficult and the strings come off easily too, one flew off while i was playing it a week or two after buying it. The beads are too light as well. It is my sincere opinion that this is not worth 20 dollars. I am giving it 3 starts since I am still using it but am disappointed.

This was smaller then I expected but that’s ok. I bought it for my wife and she likes it. You need to learn how to hold it properly and have the right hand arm movements for it to work.
