Not for cold water
"Alkaline Brewery Wash powder dissolves quickly in hot or cold water and works in all water conditions. Removes labels from bottles in minutes!" This statement isnt completely true. I used it on my unitank with spray ball and 14gpm pressure at ambient tap temp. Took several minutes to dissolve. Ran CIP for over half an hour and it barely made a dent in the cleaning. I then heated it to 170F. That was a world of difference. Its not the chemical that cleans - its the heat. Same with PBW but they dont make statements with cold water. With that out of the way, I find it works just as good as PBW and yes - less skin irritation but I wear gloves as all brewers should when using chemicals. So, other than the silly cold water statement (which should be removed), I rate it 4 stars.

Excellent
This is a great cleaner. Dissolves well in warm or cool water. Works better than oxiclean I was using before, and I use much less of it with no residue left over.Took me a while to find the scoop, it was buried deep in the powder from transit. Just grab a spoon or something similar and go digging!

My favorite brewery wash
I've been using other sodium percarbonate based cleaners, (oxiclean, PBW) and I like them. This Alkaline Brewery Wash seems to clean a little faster, rinse a little more easily, and cost a little less. I think it's a great incremental upgrade.

Very Good
Works better than PBW or OxyClean ever has for me in my kettle. Will buy again for sure.I always mix up 1/2 gallon to use for cleaning, you don't have to fill the whole kettle to soak, just get it wet and let it sit for a few minutes.

Tried instead of and in comparison with PBW.
Man. This is a much easier product to use. Works just as well as the other, no heat necessary, and priced fairly. My new go to. Cleans just as well, so no worries there. My experience was solid.

Not happy with this shipment
Product must have been exposed to moisture as half of the container was solid. Very disappointed

Best soap ever
this alkaline soap is the best so far and trust me, I have used a lot of different soaps searching for what works best for cleaning wine making equipment and bottles. Colin
