works great!
This 'towel' works great! As mentioned in at least one other review, liquid (not bar soap) soap should be used with it. It's long enough to reach all areas, cleans/exfoliates very well without damaging skin, works up a good lather with just a bit of soap, and rinses out very easily.I've used the Vic's face cloth for at least 20 years and it was the best product I had found for my face. Now, I only use it when I'm in a hurry (it works well with bar soap and can readily be tossed in the wash); my first choice is this towel, which I use on my face and pretty much everywhere else.Update (8/2012): I use my Vic's face cloth on my face and this towel elsewhere. For the face, take care to not use it too vigorously, as otherwise it can be a bit harsh. It can be cleaned readily in a washer with cold or warm (not hot) water if first placed in a bag designed to protect delicates. Such bags can be readily found at 'bed and bath' stores. To work up the best lather for use, wet the towel before and after adding the soap, then manipulate to create the foam.

Awesome!
I love this brand. I thought I’d just buy one but I ended up getting more. They work great and the brand hasn’t changed it’s quality over the years so I will be buying more. 🥰

LOVE THE TEXTURE
I really like this "scrubby". It is very effective, not too rough & can be used dry too. Long enough to stretch & scrub your back or be used like a bath puff (a super one tho!). I don't like letting things like this to stay damp (yuk) so I rinse it out & hang to dry. The reason I gave it 4 stars for value, is that after about a month, I washed it carefully in the machine, and it lost it's exfoliation quality. Still was usable, but much softer. I will keep buying them out of necessity, and I'll stay with the Body Shop brand because I've had bad luck buying the cheaper ones.

Scrub a dub dub!
I bought this to replace my loofa. Its a little rough so I would suggest being very gentle if you have sensitive skin, like myself. It lathers my body wash really well and get to the hard parts of my back that I wasn't able to reach before. I even use this on my face (VERY GENTLY) once a week to get rid of all the dead skin and make up thats accumulated on my skin. I always feel so clean after using this. Love it but just know it can be harsh if firm pressure is applied. BE GENTLE to your skin.

Great Exfoliating Cloth
I bought this item decades ago at a 99c shop and I thought that it would never wear out. When it unfortunately started to tear a few years ago, I replaced it with the Solux, which was the closest thing that I could find. It took a few showers for me to get used to the Solux, which is more abrasive than the Body Shop cloth, but I did give it a favorable review after I learned to use it with less force. Both brands are nice and long, thin, and strong. So if you need to make either one longer, depending on your body size, it's easy to sew two units together. However, I do prefer the Body Shop cloth over the Solux and I'm glad that I finally found it. In addition to being less abrasive, the BS brand can hold the lather longer for a soapier bath.

I absolutely love it. After using it for a couple months ...
Where has this been all my life and how am I just discovering it in my late 30s's? This would have been so handy in my younger years for the middle of the back area after working out. I absolutely love it. After using it for a couple months the sides are starting to unravel which is a big disappointment, but overall I'm very happy with it. It lathers up beautifully and dries quicker than a traditional loofah, so it does not grow mold or mildew. The texture does take some getting use to, but I just love how it exfoliates my back. I would definitely recommend it over the traditional loofah.

Priced right for quality
This exfoliating towel is a very awkward length, I didn’t expect it to be so thin and I honestly did not find this extremely easy to use. With that said, I do think it exfoliates and for the price it’s worth a try. This just didn’t work great for me personally but I don’t think it’s a bad product.

Love These!!!!
When I could no longer find these online at The Body Shop, I was very disappointed. I have been using these for over 10 years & thought I would have to find an alternative. I was so excited to find they were available on Amazon. Some reviews state that they are too rough. Once you wet them & apply body wash, they are just right to exfoliate.
