Brilliant, high fantasy, brutal combat, buddy banter, whodunnit

The further adventures of Halvar and Clarence (see here with my review: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1070263885?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) though to be clear you dont need the previous short story to enjoy this full length novel. This book has everything from the previous one but its dialled up to 11. The fantasy is higher, the violence more brutal and shocking, the language more florid and the banter funnier- and has a whodunnit murder mystery too!! As a result I enjoyed it all the more and can recommend this as a damn good read 9.7/10
