A very good balance bike
Bought it for our sons second birthday. It took him a little bit to work it out, but he was soon riding like a pro! Started by walking with it in the garden and then gradually riding and when he learned how to turn and reverse, that was it! He is riding very confidently! And boy is he fast! I need to run after and remind not to move so far ahead of me. It’s lovely bright red, sturdy, has strong big tyres and a good grip. The stand is useful too. It was important for us for the bike to have a brake but he rarely uses it, prefers to a stop with his feet. My son is now over three and still loves it, even if we go to the playground he sometimes leaves the water and sand just to ride around and look at others. It’s a perfect thing to buy if you want them to develop good balance/coordination and burn that never ending energy. It’s not the lightest of the bikes, but it has an advantage too if you want to make them tired :D I have to say we bought him a scooter for a third birthday but he’s not interested in it at all, still loves this bike and starts showing interest in learning to ride a real one (with pedals and learning wheels). Definitely if you have a boy, buy one! You won’t regret it.

Perfect for smaller toddlers
I bough this balance bike for my daughter's 3rd birthday. She is very small for her age (still in 18mnth clothes!) and I had been searching for a balance bike that was small enough for a 30cm inside leg. This was the smallest frame I found and it is perfect, and has an adjustable seat height so can be altered as she grows. The bike arrived very quickly and was mostly assembled, it took about 10 mins to get it ready to ride. The frame is very sturdy and the bike is incredibly well made. I think it is well worth the price and we are very happy with it.

My son loves it but I had a few concerns
I bought this bike for my 2 year old son who, in fairness, is small for his age. I was happy that the seat was the correct height for him at the lowest it would go (This is after pushing out the plug from the bottom of the seat tube). My son loves the bike even though he only walks around on it at the minute.I did have a few concerns for the bike though:1. The forks were very wide and it took a lot of turning of the front wheel nuts to get the forks flush with the hub cones. Towards the end I was starting to get worried that the forks would snap, but I persisted and the wheel is now on tight.2. There's a metal plate that hangs down from the left chain stay (that holds a part of the brake I think?). I was worried that my son would catch his heel on this when he's pushing. He's not pushing hard at the minute, but I'm pretty sure he'll have to learn to keep his feet well away from the frame when pushing which I think will be easier said than done. This plate could have been made smaller and the edges could have been rounded further.3. The kick stand is handy for storing the bike and adds a bit of novelty for my son, but unfortunately he's not strong enough to put the stand up or down. It is quite tight and I actually nipped my fingers doing it once myself. It also seems like it will get in the way of my son pushing, so this may have to be removed.4. Attaching the stem to the forks wasn't as easy as I would have liked. I had to force the stem in to the head tube after spending about 10 minutes trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. After I got it installed it was very difficult to turn the handlebars and felt like the headset bearings had popped. I was a bit annoyed and thought I'd have to return the bike, but after turning the bars for a few minutes it eased up. Better instructions would have been useful here.5. It would be nice to get the correct tools for assembly with the bike. I had to go hunting around my garage for the correct Allen key.6. The bike is quite heavy but my son doesn't know any better and hopefully he'll be able to maneuver it better when he gets a bit older. It's not so heavy that he can't pick the bike up when he falls over, but I feel the bike could have been made lighter. The points above are negative, but they're by no means show stoppers for this bike. Each point was easily rectified apart from the metal plate on the chain stay and the overall weight. The positives of this bike are:1. Great build quality. You can tell they put some thought in to it, especially with the brake cable going through the frame to stop the child from getting caught up in it.2. It has a brake. My son can't use it yet, but I'm sure it will come in handy when he's a bit older. The braking mechanism does look quite complicated (and therefore difficult to fix if it breaks), but it does work very well! I was surprised!3. The tires are inflatable. This gives better traction and the bike doesn't slip around on the ground at all (or even on a wooden floor). It also means that if he wears down the tires we can buy new ones.4. The saddle is comfortable and the seat height has a wide range of adjustment.5. The delivery was quick and the bike was packaged will.My son loves his bike and it's perfect for smaller children. I'm sure this will last him until I want to put him on to a bike with pedals.

Would've happily paid double!
This is the best bike we could've bought our son for his 2nd Birthday. He has been riding a 3 wheeler and transitioning to 2 wheels took him seconds with this bike. It's not heavy for an adult but a little heavy for him, but this is positive, he cant throw it or ghostie it like his old one and it is so sturdy. It even has a little kickstand which was a brilliant surprise. You can adjust everything with minimal effort, although it doesn't come with any tools, I managed to assemble it with just the few tools I already have. The instructions are clear and precise, I really can't fault it.Massively recommend this item, couldn't be happier with it.

Great buy!
I bought this for my 22 month old daughter. Having shopped around for weeks trying loads of different bikes at well known cycle shops etc I was losing hope of finding what we wanted until I came across this bike. It's a proper bike just with out pedals. It was so easy to put together although the pictures in the manual were rubbish and caused a bit of confusion. The seat and handle bars are all fully adjustable as well as the brake handle. the product is made really well and is sturdy. I was initially worried about it's weight but my daughter has no issues with it.There is not a single negative about this bike. Worth every penny paid and more!!!!!!!

Quality quality quality!
A really well made bike with lots of safety features. Bought this for our Grandson for Christmas, it was very easy to put together for me as I am an engineer but anyone can do it who has a few tools. There is an online video too. I am picky so found the steering head needed very slight adjustment, as did the rear wheel, but after a couple of tweaks and the tyres pumped up it is a top class bike. Arrived 3 days earlier than expected which was a very pleasant surprise. Also got an email from the German supplier with full instructions and a polite note of thanks, If you are looking for a bike for quality build and excellent brakes and tyres then look no further, this is a gem that will last for years. Buy one, and you will not be disappointed.
