First time trying shea butter. My other choice was cocoa butter but shea butter is supposed to be less comedogenic.Ordered to use it on its own after the shower but it’s a little bit grainy and takes a bit of time to warm it up in your hands.l and liquify. Still doable though!I also like slightly nutty smell it has but sometimes I add a few drops of essential oils.It sinks in moderately fast and leaves somewhat velvety finish in the skin (not super oily).I tried it on my face and it works great, too!I melted it with jojoba oil and made my own body balm. It was still a little grainy but so much easier to melt in hands and spread.Recent concoction is a big portion of this Shea butter melted with a bit of jojoba oil, and tiny bit of castor oil plus vanilla essential oil. The best!!I know I will be back for more because it’s unrefined and I am really happy with it. Also loving that it’s in a glass jar as opposed to plastic.

Doesn’t smooth down hard to rub

Was expensive but like the packaging glass not plastic and the shea butter itself feels like good quality to me. I've bought from different sellers
