When a TV personality (Loughlin) has an on-air snafu and admits she hates Christmas, she is invited to the Most Christmas-y town in the US to try and repair her image. Forced to work with her ex-boyfriend Jack (Ferguson), the show's producer, the magic of Christmas and this special town will change the way she views Christmas and her life.

Quick and efficient delivery!
I ordered this video for a fun Christmas challenge (along with several other Hallmark Christmas videos) and it was the only one that actually arrived before Christmas! It was in great condition.

One of my new favorites
This is good for a cheesy Hallmark Christmas movie. Lori Laughlin is a great leading lady -- that's actually what drew me to it. And I liked that they made this have not just a romance, but (without spoiling too much) another element to her personal life that needed resolving -- though the addition of this other piece of her story also felt a little tacked on.The love interest is funny and likeable as well. I find that if I don't like both of the romantic leads, these movies don't resonate as much because I'm not rooting for them as much and/or living vicariously. As is typical with these sort of movies, some of the side characters were poorly acted. Honestly, that's almost part of the fun with these movies.Overall, I thought this movie struck a good balance between lighthearted cheesiness (the uber-Christmasy townsfolk mostly delivered that) and drama. I wouldn't easily classify it as either a romantic comedy or a drama for that reason, and that's kind of refreshing, since some of these movies go too far in one direction or another.

I really like the 2 main characters
I enjoyed the movie. I like both actors and the story line.

Every Christmas has a story on The Hallmark Channel!
Only had a 33-second preview-trailer to go by, but, I gave it a chance. It was okay! FAMILIAR FACES resurface from the betteryears of television. It's Hallmark, so there's good, solid, entertainment. I always love the cotton snow and melting snowcones thrown along Canadiancity streets passing as America. The familiar faces ---Lori Laughlin's daughter [Isabella] is in this one--- give it a chance.Oh I'll include some pix so you won't wonder WHO some of the familiar faces are.Re: picture #4: There is NO giraffe IN this movie... just wanted to show ya a little more fake snow. Seriously though, Eureka!Eight is enough; one more Christmas movie to watch. Christmas movies? I have a FULL house!

Bring on Colin and more movies with him in them. A very enjoyable movie
I like watching Colin in this movie -- but I saw the Cedar Cove series and that was even better. He is a good actor, and I just like his approach when he is involved in a movie. He is subtle, sincere, and gives a very honest and heartfelt view of the character he is playing. I would love to see him in more movies. This was a good one too. I watch the ones I like over and over and over -- they don't get old for me.

Not in ND LOL!
I love Christmas movies of all kinds. I just had to come and say that they could have done a better job pretending they were in ND. Especially that road like they were supposedly on leaving Bismarck. Somebody show me a road with that many trees and especially that KIND of that many trees. Lol! Also, the lady would have frozen stiff if the wind was blowing that hard and she had no coat on. Good grief.

Typical Hallmark fare, but moved a little too slow.
If you have watched some Hallmark Christmas movies, you already know that all of them are doused in a big dose of eternal perkiness, and sugary, syrupy sweetness. However, I think that is part of the charm of them. This story ran a little slow for my taste. It's a pretty typical plot, where someone has either lost or never had the Christmas spirit in them. They then somehow get send to a town that personifies Christmas, where the spirit of the town will eventually win them over, and the main characters usually fall in love in the process. Very similar storyline in this movie also. It just moved pretty slowly, which is why I only gave it three stars.
