These cute fish are great for decorative tanks that are too small to hold live fish. They have a small weight in them but they are too buoyant so they just stay up at the top of the water. Still very pretty, I'm sure there is a way to add water to the inside of the fish without destroying them. At least just enough so that they sink down a bit. Still very nice.

It did not work like they said.

These just WILL NOT float at different depths like in the pictures. They need varieted weights added to them in order to make some float at different depths. These all just float at the top no matter what you do. I did get them to sit at different depths using gel water beads but they completely loose the swimming effect in the beads because they won't move. Very disappointed.

The fish do not sink and are useless

I set up an antique wash tub with solar fountain, fake lily pads and these fish. The grandkids play with them for hours!

After several attempts to make these work, they continue to remain at the top of the tube.

Not only do they all swim in my bubble tube, but they play well together - taking their turns at the top and bottom until they swim again. There is a random fin floating with them, which I can only assume is because someone was playing rough 😊

Cute decorations however the images of the fish in the listing are superimposed over and into images of aquariums making it appear these float at different levels making them appear to be swimming. All the fish I tried floated immediately. (See short video of dropped fish). The bowl aquarium in my pictures has a bubbler for circulation, which did nothing but move the fish around the surface. I did manage to simulate them 'swimming' at different depths when I poured water into the vase shown. I'm fairly sure that if you have an overflow waterfall type filter in your tank, these would 'swim' a little better, however, they did bunch up out of the way of the flowing water rather quickly. They do still look nice floating around if you only use a few in the tank, and the articulating tail adds a nice touch.
