Teva Men's Dozer 4 Hybrid Outdoor Shoe

Melts start off by saying these are not stylist at all. They weren't meant to be. These are made for hiking type conditions and are design for it not for you to wear everyday or around town just to wear them. They are outdoor sandals not everyday wear sandals. So yes they are not the greatest looking things but they are comfortable according to my husband. They are good in trails and in rivers( funny they work for what they are designed for) they are offer good support for the feet. The name Teva in hebrew means nature meaning out of doors in the woods on trails, rivers. These are sports sandals. If you want everyday sandals go look for some. These are not expensive so wearing them are not going to make you look like you have money or are in the in crowd like Highschool stop complaining and use them for what they were designed and made for. I have read so many reviews on these that this suggest people were buying them as a status instead of there intended use. Go hiking, biking, camping and you will see how well these sandals actually perform.

TL;DR, there is a seam inside of the sandals that can break the skin and/or cause blisters on your toe(s) while wearing the Dozer 4 Hybrid sandals.I owned a pair of Teva sandals, similar to  Teva Men's Hurricane XLT Sandal,Wavy Trail/Insignia Blue,10 M US , for years and really enjoyed them. I would go hiking, walking through streams and small rivers, and wore them as the primary daily footwear of summer. When I told my wife that I wanted to purchase a replacement pair of Teva sandals and showed her what I was considering to purchase she told me that I should have a more closed toe sandal for walking around the city and going to the beach. Reluctantly I purchased the Dozer 4 Hybrid as my new pair of Teva sandals, which has been over a year and a half ago.The first day I wore these they felt great and didn't think I'd even need to break them in.The next time I wore the Dozer 4 Hybrid sandals we went to the beach. I thought that I would take our 16 month old, at the time, into the water at the beach and let him try some wading. As we neared our apartment on the walk home from the beach I could feel a discomfort from the sandals. When I took off the Teva sandals I noticed a red spot near the first knuckle on both of my ring toes (second from the outermost toe). I waited for the redness to go down before wearing them again; however, by the time I arrived home they had caused blisters to form in the same location. I felt inside and there is a seam (see picture, which is blurry) that isn't very smooth that appears to cause this to happen to me.I am very disappointed in this pair of Teva sandals and will definitely not be buying the Dozer 4 Hybrids again.If you found this review "Helpful", please click the button below.

I usually wear 10.5 -11 shoe size. I also wear prescription inserts. Most shoes have an insert from the manufacturer that can be removed and I can put my replacement in w/o a problem. Sandals don't have the inserts, but I knew that they would loosen up in time. After two days of wearing them, they have expanded to a semi-comfortable fit. I am pleased and would recommend them. These Dozers are replacing and older pair that I have worn for years. Dozers have a partial heel that keeps my inserts in place. If you wear inserts and are looking for a sandal, these are the ones to get. They will expand a little more in time and even fit better. The velcro fasteners allow the adjustment that you need.

Bought for husband. His remarks are... he likes the shoe, the fit is good. However, he has only worn them a dozen times and the strap is coming apart. The velcro is very good, keeping the straps closed but to loose the strap from the velcro you pull a "tab" sewn on the top of the strap. On one of the shoes, it is causing the material to separate. The "release tab" should have been sewn under the strap at the end instead of on top.

good sandals, comfortable, durable but the sole comes apart after what seems a short period - glue breaks down that holds it together my guess. I have bought this and similar Teva's sandal's models repeatedly because I like them and they wear well.

While the arch support is good and the sole is solid...1) These are a large change from the Dozer 3. It seems that the "Forebay fisherman sports Sandal" has inherited the features I like. However the Forebay sandals appear to be $20 more expensive!2) Where's the nylon pull loop? That was useful!3) The velco strap goes through a loop on the tongue. These are not as easy to put on or take off as the Dozer III sandals.4) The back feels a little low. I feel like they are going to slip off at some point.5) The end of the velcro is not attached to the pull strap. How many pulls will it take until the top strap rips off the velcro?This is not a good step forward from the Dozer 3. I am disappointed and will return these to try a THIRD pair of Teva sandals. I do like the brand based on past experience, but I'm starting to think I need to look elsewhere!

Found these shoes at a local shoe store, decided to get online because I couldn't find my size. My last pair of skechers lasted me for around 9-10 years. Of course I didn't wear them everyday, but they held up. These shoe's felt really good the 1st time I wore them. They were really comfortable, and supported my feet very well. I Really like the way they look on my feet, almost like a hiking shoe. Great for when I go to the boardwalk in ocean city, NJ. Living near there in the summer has its perks!!!I would strongly recommend that you try these shoes.

I like the velco strap over the elastic laces of the Abbett M model  Teva Men's Abbett M Sandal,Brown,11 M US . It results in much less sock-bunching when you put your foot in.The shoe also seems to fit my feet better. The same size Dozer fit my foot as the Abbett..The Dozer has a vertical connection between the heel back and the sole that is missing from the Abbett. That vertical connection prevents the hem of jeans from finding its way under my heels where the open back does not.

Das gut geformte Fussbett aus Gummi schafft es trotzdem die Feuchtigkeit der Füsse zu absorbieren. Tortzdem hat man nach einiger Zeit das Gefühl feuchter Füsse. Zieht man den Schuh aus hat man auch leicht feuchte Füsse wie nach dem Fussbad. Optisch sehr dezent, ohne Farbe und auch für bessere Anlässe als nur die Freizeit durchaus geeignet.Schuh sitzt perfekt und sehr fest und sicher am Fuss. Ideal für lange Touren und schlechtes Gelände. Verträgt Feuchtigkeit und Nässe sehr gut. Die Ferse wird durch die Sohle gut geschützt und gedämmt. Anfangs war ich etwas skeptisch da der Fuss optisch unangenehm weit vorne im Schuh sitzt. Aber hierdurch erfüllt der Schuh an der Achillesferse eine besondere Funktion. Der Fuss sitzt sehr gut stabilisiert im Schuh und ist gegen wegrutschen oder knicken sehr gut geschützt. Insgesamt für einen Tageseinsatz Alltag oder auch Ausflüge und Wandern ein tolles Produkt. Auch wenn das Gummi teilweise dann nicht so angenehm ist kann man bei Pausen den Fuss einmal entlüften.Vorteil ist hier bei TEVA auch wieder... rein in die Waschmaschine mit dem Schuh. Wie bei meiner TEVA Sandale gehe ich davon aus das ich jahrelange Spaß an dem Schuh haben werden.

I obsessively looked for the right sandals for me. I walk off road but not up mountains. I like to walk on holiday etc.In the summer, my usual Merrell shoes make my feet a bit hot although they are very comfortable.These Teva sandals (to quote Flanders) feel like you're wearing nothing at all.Really light, supremely comfy. Great airflow. They don't look as geeky as some other men's sandals.The only downsides are the odd stone getting in (the price you pay for cooler feet) and the fact that they are quite expensive.No regrets!

This shoe is no longer made by Teva and this is a great shame. I have used it on two Caminos de Santiago and it has been wonderful. Comfortable and hardwearing. I was glad to pick up a last pair before they disappear for good.

I had worn 3 pairs of TEVA Dozer 3 sandals over the last 4 years and loved it. Dozer 3 gave my pronated feet good arch support that's why I loved this model. Unfortunately Dozer 3 is no longer in production and I chanced upon Dozer 4. It gives the same arch support and my UK size 8 fits like a glove. I'll have to wait until my present pair is worn out before I use Dozer 4. But I'm positively sure that it would give my feet the necessary arch support and the velcro strap appears to have improved. a diferencia de las clasicas teve terra fi 4, que para ser sandalias pesan bastante, me ha sorprendido la ligereza de este modelo.clzo un 43 y me quedan perfectas.son todo sinteticas por lo que supongo podre mojarlas sin restricciones.la suela agarra muy bien.naturalmente el pie que mas protegido. como pero....decir que la tira de velcrodel cierre superior no esta pegada a la cinta en su ultimo tramo que es por donde se estira para abrir.......veremos lo que dura.
