My daughter (2nd grade/8yo) wore this for 'cultural day' at school representing Japan. The dress is durable but cheaply made, the sash having seams sewn in plain site. The biggest problem was the hair piece comb does not resemble the picture and the flower fell apart straight out of the bag. The matching parasol and fan complete the outfit though, so with some makeup and dangly earrings she was the best dressed for the day. Makes a good costume for school events or plays, Halloween, or dress-up.
