Rechargeable Mosquito Repellent Outdoor with 20' Mosquito Protection Zone, Bug Insect Repellent for Outdoor Indoor Patio

I believe this is an updated version from the one I bought in the past. I gifted that one to a friend who needed the device for her gardening and I bought this new one. It’s much smaller and yet has the same effective functionality. I used the device when walking outside everyday and haven’t had a single mosquito bite the whole summer! Great product!

My family bought it for our trip to the tropics. It works to protect my family within the vicinity. The smell is light but sufficient to render mosquitoes to "drunken' state when they fly into the protected area. We bought several types of dispenser to enable indoor and outdoor use.

This gets very very hot on all sides of it. Not just on the top like some other brands they sell on Amazon.I think it works well, the downside is just how hot it gets

Nice that it’s rechargeabke. But didn’t do that good of a job keeping the mosquitos away.

I was super skeptical about this actually working. But, I'm desperate. I do a lot of yard and garden work in the summer and very often into the dusk and evening hours when mosquito activity is prime. I hate using chemicals on my skin, so I usually suffer, do a lot of swatting and then a lot of itching days later. I thought I would give this a try. At first I didn't think it was working - it makes no sound at all and really not much indication it is on. Turns out, there is a light on the bottom that comes on to show it is on. It took a little while to charge, but I think you could easily get in the habit of charging during the day so it was ready to use at night. Anyhow, I went out to garden in the darkening evening and took this with me, setting it in the area I was working in. I probably was never farther than 10 feet from it, but I actually think it worked! Either that or all the mosquitos took the night off. I had 1 mosquito land on me in the maybe 1.5 hour I was out there during peak mosquito time. I didn't even hear them humming near me! I actually thought it was crazy unbelievable. I will continue to use this and if it continues to work, I'm ecstatic! This opens up a whole world of nighttime pursuits. I can envision taking it to nighttime events (like fireworks, picnics, concerts, etc), eating outside on the deck, continued nightime gardening, camping, endless opportunities! The apparatus got just a little warm on the top - nothing even remotely dangerous. Much safer than a citronella candle and able to be taken safely anywhere. The little pad is starting to turn white after about 1 - 1.5 hours of use. At about 60 cents each for refill pads, it might be a little pricey if used a lot, but I still appreciate the technology and not having to slather poison all over my body to avoid getting bitten. Super happy with this!! I've already put refills in my cart!

Within 15 minutes of activating it with a fresh pod, I had 3 mosquitoes stay in my face and continue to bite me. Worst product for price
