Dungeons & Dragons The Deck of Many Things - Includes The Book of Many Things

This is everything I expected it to be and more. The book has more details than expected, as well as more than one way to use the deck. It has adventures, and ways to use it in campaign. It comes with a second book, sort of a quick reference guide to the cards. It's well packaged. Arrived fast. In perfect condition. This is absolutely beautiful.

This is a beautiful set. The packaging is beautiful, the cards are stunning, the book is amazing.So many things in the Book of Many Things.

I hate the fact that this has so many bad reviews due to the quality of the cards and so on, i get it WotC and whoever made the books and cards needed to do a much better job but you should have been able to return them and get a replacement.Now i waited to buy this after seeing all the quality issues and the one i got was really good with no issues at all.As for the content, well it has some good things and some not so good things, i like the charms that can be given out with the deck and the idea you can create a story with the original deck.My biggest issue is the extra cards, Im sorry but there is a misconception about the original deck. The small deck of 13 cards has more bad cards than good the full 22 deck has the same amount of good and bad cards (I think 9 of each and 3 that are neither). Of the 44 new cards there are about 35 cards that are beneficial with only a handful of negative cards, I'm sorry but how is this balanced then? The whole point of the deck is to give you a chance at greatness or something really really really bad, the way it can be made into the deck of many more things can make your players superheroes.Besides that one little complaint overall the book of many things is not bad and can add a little bit and now people wont get so scared if one appears.

The corner of the product's packaging inside the Amazon box was dented in, which damaged the corner of the book inside and bent every single page at the top corner. This obviously isn't the product's fault, but poor handling by Amazon.

For those who afraid of problems with cards, like what was in first print. Bought right now, cards were in perfect condition.

After the announcement that the product was delayed do to quality concerns, I was hopeful that the cards would be in a better condition. Instead they arrived very warped and the card Balance arrived damaged. The warping can potentially be corrected a bit, but having cards arrive damage is frustrating. The physical prop was a big reason I was willing to pay for it, and that has let me a down a bit. Over all, I don't feel as if the quality was enough to justify nearly doubling the cost of a regular book what I received. It's usable, but a company as big as Wizard's and Hasbro should be held to a higher standard than that.The rest of the product was a lot better though. The card guide book was clear and understandable.The Book of Many Things felt like it was organized in an awkward manner, but over all the table of contents makes it a lot easier to navigate. It has a lot a high level stat blocks that seemed pretty good after looking it all over, and the new magic items it presents look pretty fun as well. I thought it did a good job at explaining the deck and providing resources and information for DMs.I want to rate this at a middling 2.5 do to half the product being less than I expected, but since that's not an option the two books it came with being better convinces me to give it a 3 instead of a 2.

I was surprised to actually get it when my pre-order was help up due to the changes in the distribution system and having to redo the cards. I thought they had canceled it until it suddenly showed up.Pleased with the product though. Cards are nice, illustrations are great. Updates previous articles and products related to the DoMT with some new twists. Enjoying the new ideas. Best product in awhile!

I was concerned when I read that some people had damaged shipments, but mine is in perfect shape. The books and deck are beautiful. I already got "The Book of Many Things" on DnD Beyond and enjoyed it, and I'm happy to have it in print, too. I'm also happy that this set comes with a book for reading the cards, if that's something one's interested in doing. Just a lovely set all around.

Completely over priced, but if you know what you're getting and are okay with spending the money, I highly recommend! I've made my D&D group very jealous with it.

My first encounter with the Deck of Many Things was way back in 1989, when I got a copy of Dragon Magazine, with a card insert set and an article on how to use the Deck in the (then) new edition of D&D. It’s been a loved artefact ever since.This reinvention for 5th edition is glorious. The deck is nicely illustrated, and the book gives a detailed look at the Deck, and explains clearly how to use it in your games.I’m quite impressed.

Ich bin einfach sprachlos.Die Tarot-Karten sind unfassbar schön verarbeitet, die Illustrationen sind einfach fabelhaft. Der vergoldetet Kartenrand besticht in seinem strahlenden Glanz. Die Bücher dazu sind ebefalls fantastisch und spitze verarbeitet die auch leicht verständlich (auf englisch). Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen wenn jemand auf einen extra kick in D&D steht. Einfach nur TOP
