It’s just a belt. Annoying one.
It’s a belt. But unlike other belts this one cannot be adjusted while wearing it. You must set the length and hope you got it right. If you had a nice meal and want to loosen just a bit, tough luck! The adjusting of length is frustrating. It’s my first belt of this type and maybe I am missing something but it doesn’t make any sense to use this style of belt. Even if the buckle can hold up to hundreds of pounds it’s just a belt! I doubt other belts of this style are different.I decided to give it a 5 star because it is a good quality and sits well. It’s definitely sturdy. The fact I don’t like the mechanism doesn’t mean it’s a bad belt.

OK for the price, but not great.
It's not a bad belt for the price, I guess. The sizing was correct, but the material isn't as stiff as I would like for a "gun" or holster belt. I like the fact that the buckle has to be taken off to insert through belt loops. This means that the buckle can't slide through the loops. This is handy when, say, going to the bathroom. When undoing your belt and pants, the weight of the gun can't pull the belt through the loops having everything hit the floor. As for the clasp... I have a bit of a gut. Not real big, but big enough that some motions and bending can cause the buttons to be pressed. Sometimes when getting out of the car, the buckle will pop. This can get annoying. I now wear it not in front, but with buckle at the 10 or 11 o clock position.

Quality belt! Only one negative...
This sturdy belt is an excellent belt! I was looking for a sturdy work belt to replace my aging wide leather belt for when I work in the shop and around the yard. I found it! It is very sturdy, withstands water, sweat and abuse, was economical to purchase, and is very easy to adjust. The ONLY negative (personal preference, and not a big enough deal to downgrade my top rating) is that you must remove the buckle (male end) each time you switch pants (i.e. when you remove it from the pants' belt loops) unless you have loops that will handle a very wide belt, because the sturdy buckles (on both ends) are too large to pass through the belt loops. It is a minor inconvenience but well worth it since I love the belt so much.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

Exceeded my expectations!
It is definitely heavy duty. The quick release works very well. Great if you're looking for a sturdy belt for concealed carry. Easily supports the weight of my Glock 17 and 2 spare mag holders.Only one downside, and this is from a purely tactical perspective. It doesn't come off easily if you left you EDC at home and you need to use your belt to defend against a knife attack, bind up an attacker until the police can take over, or to secure a door from an active shooter.I saved the coolest part for last... The kilonewton force ratings on the buckle are a very nice touch! (Trad and sport rock climbers will know what those mean.)Overall exceeded my expectations and a very good value for the money. I plan to buy another one in a different color.

Works great for me, after a brief leaning curve.
I purchased this belt in the 36" - 41" size. I wear 36" pants and have about 8 - 10" of tail left over. I found the little retainer loop included for securing the loose end a little tight to easily use, but the tag end tucks perfectly back through the first and second belt loops anyway, so that method is easier for me.I find the buckle to be a little too good at grabbing onto the free end of the web belt. Once you thread the belt through your pants and through the buckle, I can't simply pull on the tail end to tighten the belt effectively. I have to work the webbing through the first slot in the buckle, hold it securely and then pull on the loose end. If there was one improvement I would like to see, it would be to make it slide easily enough that you could tighten it just by pulling on the tail end. The good news, however, is that the buckle doesn't loosen up on it's own once adjusted.I can see where some people might find it a pain to have to undo the webbing from the buckle to put the belt on or take it off. With my previous belt, however, I had to do this anyway, so being able to just pop the buckle apart to "drop your drawers" is a plus for me. I also typically try to wear my jeans for two days to save my wife from having to constantly wash them (unless I trash them working), so the belt just resides in the pants overnight and makes getting dressed the next day that much easier. I am definitely pleased with the quality of this belt, especially given the price point!

A good product. A few things to keep in mind.
A fairly decent and well finished product. Looks good. Performing well so far. There is no play or stretch in the fabric, but its easy enough to micro-adjust to your exact measurements. This is a belt which is best for adding to a pair of pants that you intend to keep it on.Don't expect to take this bent on/off every night like you would a leather belt. This is because it has a buckle on both ends and it is difficult to push the buckle through you pant loops. You could slide the fabric out of the buckle every time to take it on/off, but then you will need to re-adjust every time to find that "sweet spot" that fits you perfectly. It is not a flaw of the belt; just typical of all belt of this design and something to keep in mind.I put them on and keep them on a pair of work pants that I don't wash every day.The buckle is quick and easy to open/close.Although, you will need to make sure that you fully push it together so that both lugs engage.A few times I didn't push it together hard enough and it popped apart when I didn't expect it.But if you latch it properly, there is no way it is coming open. All in all, a great belt, especially for the price.
