Bird Hawk Flying Kite for Crops Farm Protector Bird Scarer Flying Kite Without Pole-Style B Kite

The media could not be loaded. Chicken owners!! After several attempted hawk attacks I decided to get proactive for my pasture raise hens and Roos. We hung cds and reflective ribbon, but worked best is this bird. It flies all over in the sky and has worked amazing! So worth the value. Purchased the black crow. Chickens do not seem to mind it as it dives down and swings back up infront of them. We have to go out once a week to semi unwrap it because we are on a hilltop and get winds from all sides. Other than that we are so happy with our purchase. Not one complaint!

The kite shows no signs of wear after flying it several hours a day for a week. When there is wind it flies with a lot of action, and it's shape and shadow are raptorish. I don't see any squirrels, and not many jays, when it's windy. When there is no wind it hangs with painted side up.The telescoping pole is also well made. The only issue is that sometimes, after being up for some hours in the wind, the pole will collapse (telescope) down on it's own. I suppose I should jam the tapered joints tighter when I set it up, but I don't want to struggle with it when I take it down.

I found this to work very well while the wind blows. It needs a breeze to keep if flying.

I have purchased 2 of these birds and poles. The line provided will not hold for any meaningful length of time. I've lost birds, 3 times, all because the line broke. I will not buy another, and don't recommend you do as the same thing happened to 3 of my friends that also bought them for their boats. All of them lost their birds!

We purchased this crow kite to ward off hawks from attacking our chickens. Haven’t lost a chicken since installing it.

The wind has to blow quite hard for it to fly. The print is only on the bottom side so it would likely not deter a flying predator. It doesn't seem properly balanced. I purchased this for predator control by my chickens. It's not obvious unless there's a strong wind. It was easy to assemble though. I wouldn't buy another one but it may help at times. There's no way to know.

Bought this to add to our chicken yard to keep hawks away. Wasn’t sure if it would work or not but we have not lost any chickens to hawks since adding this. We will be adding a second one
