Works great as intended. I was having trouble using my headset wirelessly with the adapter but then I have a pro controller with and adapter too and also my external hard drive. With the slim ps4 only having two ports, this product really helps out! Just know that when you put this on, the main usb port world be the far left. That’s where I have my external. This product is AMAZING! I’m happy! Highly recommend

My PS4 didn't read my external storage device, a Seagate 1TB hard drive until I plugged it into the first (left most) slot. Before that, I had it in the last slot and the system told me it couldn't read the device. Yes, having five USB slots fory PS4 makes all the difference for the better!

Good little product. I plugged my extended hard drive into the blue slot 3.0 like they said and it all works fine. I also bought the lifted feet to make ps4 have better air flow underneath. With that the USB ports are hanging in the air. I think over time the 2 Ian plug ports connected to ps4 would of eventually fallen out. So I took a small book and placed it underneath the usb extender to support it and take the weight of the 2 built in ps4 ports. So far so good and everything works.

I've had to update this from 5 stars to 1. I had an issue with my PS4 after connecting this where some games would not download.I almost sent it I to be fixed and tried removing this USB hub first. No more issues.Order with caution!After getting a PSVR and an external hard drive, there were not enough USB ports to go around, especially if a controller needed to be charged. This is perfect! I have 3 open ports now to charge any combination of dual shock or move controllers and a spot for a wireless headset. I had an issue once where my move controllers were not charging, but the standard "turn the PS4 off and back on" did the trick. This device fits seamlessly on the front. It does increase the footprint of the PS4 in your set up, but it is a secure for and will likely be fine if there is some overhang.

This is my 2nd time buying this attachment. My son just purchased his own PlayStation4, I have had mine for a few years now and it still works! It was a no brainer I needed to buy one for his step up as well. This gamer mama approves!

I did not do extensive testing like with external storage or bluetooth dongle, but the point of getting this, for me, was to have more usb space with VR connected. The VR unit kept disconnecting constantly. It did provide power to charge controllers etc.
