It seems that I will have to drill out the rivets that hold the plastic slots in that the stabilizer bar mounts into to get the bar in. Also, the locking pins do not appear to always lock and part of the instructions translated into English make no sense. I have not tried to use it as an "A" frame yet.I need to correct this review. Do not drill rivets. There are small pieces of plastic in the slots that can be removed and the bar will then fit very nicely. I just finished using this ladder in the "A" style and it is great. Pins work great, Sorry about the operator error.
