Great bit of kit
Ive not used this on manual mode yet, but flown about 10kilometers in normal and sports mode. Some slate the drones camera quality but its pretty good, but yes the video is superb. Be aware the return to home feature often goes wrong. Firstly it wastes battery power flying up to 200meters high and takes ages to get back down again. Secondly it loses track of where home is, once it tried to land on my car and another time it got stuck in a tree and fell out. However the ability to see where your going is great. Oh and the range of 10 kilometers, no. Be lucky if you get one kilometer before picture is lost and return to home gets activated, even with line of sight to the drone. The optional motion controller is fun and is easier to control over undulating ground. As a newbie you can fly in normal mode, even land and take off in normal mode, then fly in sports once your accustomed to it. Manual mode is completely different, the controls are different, no safety or even self righting, be prepared for some emergency stops, the app training of manual mode has some value but is completely unrealistic. All in all, great fun, really handy, checked my roof tiles after a storm. Even flew in 40mph winds for a bit, drone managed surprisingly well but i dont recommend it.

Brilliant up to now...
It's a brilliant bit of kit, dead easy to use having never flown a quadcopter before. The Goggle's are comfy enough for the 5 batteries I have now bought to be used without having to rest my head, neck or eyes. With one battery it's a waste of time TBH ... With 5 barriers it's great.. But I could double that.. But the cost 😮😮😮.It's very robust , I've bounced off tree branches and had it land upside on the floor...broken one prop so far ..( I've used about 51 fully charged batteries so far ) I've lost it twice.. Thank God for the buzzer you can use to locate it..BUT GET A BATTERY STRAP tree bounced once and knocked the battery out , 2 hours to find it..no signal, no beeper , no lights... Thinking of excuses to tell the misses that I've lost my toyIt's very fast in sports mode.. Feels faster in the forest.... Trees come at you really quick.. Still not used full manual mode as tbh doing the flips etc is not what Im really wanting to do....yetOverall it's been great fun using, so much so that 2 of my mates have bought the fpv and 4 extra batteries each....The range when your on your own is staggering ( in line of sight ) in the forest about 350 meters above 2 meters from the floor... Drop below that and it's gets a bit sketchy...rth in a forest ...nope not going to work... In open line off sight I flew 4500 meters away ( yes we have a big secure area to fly) I was more worried about the battery level more than dropping connection.. But it will tell you that you need to rth ( return to home) and had always landed with 15% battery left..I play safe, not sillyOn a long range flight all 3 flying together.. Chasing each other around the secure flying spot we use.. Things can get a bit worrying..I've lost connection a few times....Goggle's off run towards the fpv away from my mates... Connection back all happy again..

Don’t think you’re going to fly this straight away
First off ... there’s very little in the way of instructions in the box. You’re going to have to watch the tutorials and understand the different modes and buttons. There are LOTS of settings and hidden functionality with this kit.You also need to charge 4 components.1) Your mobile Phone2) The battery pack for the FPV goggles3) The controller4) The drone itselfThis will all take time. Then when you get excited and keen to get going and connect it all up ... well then hang your coat back up. The goggles and app and drone all wanted an update in my case. Over 330Mb in one case. Long story short it took over an hour. So once everything is charged and updated ... you’re ready to go ... or are you? Nope. You really do need to watch the video to understand what comes off (Gimbal protector) and how to switch on the battery packs and finally a lot of the controls themselves. Then ... and only then are you ready to fly.One thing that will come as a massive surprise is the weight of the drone itself. It’s like nothing I’ve ever flown before ... it feels like a house brick. I suspect that is in order to get the 20 mins of batter power. The drone itself is tiny and very stable even in a good wind. Video quality is very good (it needs to be for FPV) and response is very slick. You need some previous experience with Drones to fly this safely .... but there are 3 controls you MUST know where they are and how to access them blind. Remember with goggles on you can’t look down and spot the controls. So NUMBER 1 : Make sure you know where the BRAKE/HOVER RETURN TO HOME is. It’s the same button. Press it once quickly and the drone immediately stops and hovers while you gather your thoughts.NUMBER 2 : Return to Home. If it all goes to a ball of string press and HOLD the BRAKE/HOVER button for 2 seconds and the drone will head back home .... a word of warning ... it doesn’t always take the most direct router back to you AND it won’t always land where it took off .... that can be a worry as I’ve seen it land 2 meters away from where it took off.Number 3 : Do you know how to look up and down? When flying this is super helpful. Use the silver wheel on the left.Important TIPS : If this is your first time flying in FPV mode have someone with you. They get a bigger picture of things than you do .... for example if the drone starts to move towards you all you may see is a little drift. Someone else might see it’s drifting close enough to hurt you. Secondly I recommend sitting down the first few times. FPV flight can make you dizzy so be careful. My last comment : This is possible the best drone I have flown to date. This is a LOT of fun in FPV and I’ve just bought the hand sensory controller as well. Enjoy.

Awesome drone and speed. Picture amazing too. Fast drone..
The media could not be loaded. Picture is awesome can never go back to a phone drone now, straight to manual, if you're confident enough. If you are also having issues activating the drone clear the cache, in dji app, log put log back in and you should have no problems. Absolutely ace fun, batteries not so much, and for the price of them too. But putting that aside, wow just wow. Incredible fun.. Don't buy if not confident. Also you will need a decent sd card otherwise you're footage will be in super slow mo. So don't skimp on sd card. Enjoy doing nearly 90mph standing still, it's Ace...
