10/10
This camera has great quality and great footage. It doesn’t come with an SD card so be prepared to get one. I use this for four wheeling and the footage was clean and I was very easy to use. It held up very well with the mud and bumps. The camera itself it’s relatively light weight so if you want to wear it on you, you can barely tell that it’s there. Connects right to your phone where you can watch the footage or you can take out the sd card and watch it on a laptop. I will say watching it on your phone makes the video not as clear whereas on a laptop it is clear and easy to see. If you’re thinking about it definitely get it. It does not disappoint and the price is definitely far for the quality and functionality.

Versatile and Durable
This camera can do so many things well. It takes great photos and is a highly competent recording camera. It’s also well built; I have put it through some pretty rough conditions and haven’t had any problems. The interface is intuitive and well thought out. It’s a great value. It does a lot at an affordable price. Recommended.

GoPro -> DJI
I make Fishing videos and was using a GoPro Hero 7 Black. I had overheating issues, battery issues and freezing issues. I had been researching new GoPros and was disappointed when I heard they still had overheating problems. I've seen DJI Action cameras before so I decided to research. I watched many videos. My conclusion: the DJI doesn't overheat, the batteries last WAY longer AND the magnetic mount is AMAZING. Taking the Action 4 off my neck mount to put on my tripod is a breeze with the magnet and clamps. Such an amazing innovation. I've recorded a total of 6 hours of 4K 60 Ultra Wide and have had 0 issues. The camera has yet to even get hot even after recording for 2 hours straight. I'm impressed. The build quality is good, I like the protective case it comes with and the fact that you can access the USB-C port with the case on. The size of the camera is comparable to GoPro. They're small-ish action cameras. After tax I spent $225 and couldn't be happier. The quality of camera you get for the money you spend is incredible. I'm definitely team DJI now. GoPro lost me when they decided to not fix their issues.. picture and video quality are fantastic on this camera, value for money is amazing. Great camera. Definitely a happy fishing content creator here 👋🏻

Great Action Camera
I got this on sale so it was an awesome deal. For an4k action camera it does everything I need and shoots in “Dlog” footage which can be graded well. The stabilizing works realllly well for moto vlogging and there’s a pretty large aftermarket of mounts and accessories to mount it in tons of places. Picture quality is awesome but my one critique is that the bitrate seems throttled, video people will know what this means. Overall good value for money if bought on sale otherwise a solid action camera option.

The video quality is excellent, and the stabilization works really well even on rough rides. Battery life is solid, and it’s super easy to mount and use. Waterproof design gives me peace of mind when traveling. Very happy with this purchase!

Triumphing in the Adventure Cam Showdown
In the world of adventure videography, the competition is fierce, especially among top contenders like the GoPro Hero 12 Black and the Insta360 Ace Pro. However, after extensive testing and comparison, the DJI Osmo Action 4 has emerged as my favorite, surpassing its rivals in key areas that matter most to me: video quality, thermal management, and overall value.When it comes to video quality, the Osmo Action 4 shines brightest. Its footage is crystal clear and rich in color and detail, outperforming the GoPro Hero 12 Black. Whether I'm capturing a sunrise over a mountain peak or the intricate patterns of a rushing river, the Osmo Action 4 delivers superior visual clarity that brings my adventures to life in a way that the GoPro can't match.Thermal performance is another area where the Osmo Action 4 excels. Unlike the GoPro Hero 12 Black, which has struggled with overheating during extended use in my experience, the Osmo Action 4 remains cool under pressure. This reliable thermal management ensures that I can keep recording without interruption, a critical factor when capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments.While the Insta360 Ace Pro is a formidable contender with its innovative features and impressive capabilities, its higher price point makes it less appealing than the DJI Osmo Action 4. For adventurers who, like me, demand top-notch performance without breaking the bank, the Osmo Action 4 presents a more balanced package of quality, durability, and affordability.The dual-screen design of the Osmo Action 4 is a feature that particularly stands out, offering convenience and flexibility that neither the GoPro nor the Insta360 Ace Pro can match. Being able to frame shots from any angle without additional equipment easily is a boon for solo adventurers.In conclusion, while the GoPro Hero 12 Black and the Insta360 Ace Pro have their strengths, the DJI Osmo Action 4 ultimately provides the best video quality, thermal performance, and value for money. It's a robust, reliable action camera that has become indispensable to my adventure gear, empowering me to capture and share my experiences with unparalleled clarity and ease.TL;DR: After comparing the DJI Osmo Action 4 with the GoPro Hero 12 Black and the Insta360 Ace Pro, the Osmo Action 4 is the superior choice for adventure videography. It offers unmatched video quality and thermal performance without the high price tag of the Ace Pro, making it the go-to camera for capturing high-quality, uninterrupted footage of all my explorations.
