not impressed at all with this item.I bought two of these hoping to combat the neighbors dog that barks constantly, all day and night.When I put up the first one, it seemed to help, the dog only barked on the far side of their property.But soon, he was standing in front of it barking away!I bought a second one, and put it on corner of my house, aimed at their patio, hoping to give him a double whammy and quiet him down.Still barks constantly, and still barks close to these units. The only thing these are good for are for the flashing green LED's flashing all night, i hope it annoys them...

We received this product in a timely manner. We put in the 9 volt battery and set the controller as directed at a 5 foot level and turned on the device. A light came on and whenever our dogs barked the light would come on and you could barely detect a high pitched noise. Our dogs continued to bark. We tried the two other settings with the same result, continuous barking from our dogs. We had hoped that this device would also help with the incessant barking from our neighbors dogs but it has proved to be ineffective. I have tried using this controller in the back yard and in the house and I know my dogs are not deaf and the controller is apparently working because the lights seem to react to their barking. However, it is not doing what it claims to do. Wrote to the manufacturer and they responded with the same directions we already had followed. I wrote them back to let them know it still wasn't working and have not heard back since.

I'm not sure if the positive reviews are even real, haha.I have three dogs (various sizes and ages) who like to bark at the neighbors whenever they're outside on the porch. I just watched my dog bark at the neighbors loudly from about two feet away from the unit -- not phased at all. She is a younger dog and has zero hearing impairment. I have the unit on the highest setting.Either I have an annoying dog (likely) or this thing is mediocre at best (also likely). I guess you can purchase this if you're desperate like me, in hopes that maybe it will help a little bit. But if you're looking for something that is going to change your world, quiet your heathens, and open the gates to heaven... maybe click the link to another product?

Works great. We have tried many different types of collars for our talkative Australian shepherd but this works very well. The collars don't work because he's figured out how to get around it and he has a lot of fur that makes the collars ineffective but the first night we got this, he didn't bark at all and he quites down whenever we go to turn this on. It's wonderful! IMPORTANT: we had music playing outside and it seemed to set this off a bit.. He was very uncomfortable so be sure to take note of that.

This thing is nothing but fantastic! My neighbor's dog barked like crazy as soon as the parents were out. Sometimes he would be quiet for almost a minute before it started again and kept on going for hours. It was driving me crazy and I started to avoid staying at my place. Until I bought this little masterpiece that is. The first days there was only a slight decrease in barking but it was for sure a little better. Now it has been a month or two and there is still a bark now and then but now I can enjoy both my house and my backyard again.

Waste of money. 2 neighbors dogs (medium and large) standing by my chain link fence barking their heads off. Placed this device within all kinds of ranges (near, med far range) from them and NOTHING. No change. Sending this back.

This works like a charm. Just make sure that you are not talking when you are outside with your animals when it is on. We only use it when we leave to go to a social event in the evening. We have a dog door so that they can go outside when we are not there. When we do not use this bark control at least one of my dogs will bark incessantly to the point that neighbors leave me messages on my door complaining.

I think this definitely works on my large breed dog who has a loud, deep bark. I have used it in the house, in the yard and the garage. My next try will be pointed at the neighbors 3 small yappy dogs. One of her dogs actually sounds like it is screaming when it barks. It is old so not too sure if this will work on him. I like that it does not cause any pain, it just annoys them enough to get them to stop.
