The comb went through my golden retriever's fur and was effective at getting out the tangles under her ears. It helped remove her undercoat. The comb is a good, versatile size. The comb is smooth and seems more comfortable for our pup than the dematting brush. It's a sturdy, quality, professional-grade comb.

This is such a sturdy, affordable comb! I almost paid $40+ at one of the large chain pet stores as it was marketed as a 'professional' grooming comb... from what I can tell, this one is almost identical and just a fraction of the price. Very happy and I'm able to actually groom my 1yr old Cocker Spaniel x Golden Retriever (very fluffy ears and tail), who usually won't let me groom her. The shipping was really quick too, especially considering I ordered right before a long weekend.
