Very nice dress at a great price. I'm 70, 5'4", 140 lbs, with a large bust so ordered the recommended XL which is perfect for me. Provides good coverage front and back, unlike lots of dresses. Even so, at my age the front V neck is lower than I prefer, so I'm wearing a black shapewear camisole which looks fine (not sheer/underwear-looking) and gives it sort of a Grecian-style neckline. Length could be about half an inch shorter to be ideal for me, but not a problem. Going on a cruise with multiple formal dinner opportunities, so want to take only one black dress where I can change up the look with different wraps and accessories but not have to overpack all kinds of stuff. I tried multiple dresses from various vendors, but this one really was the best fit, length (many were way too long), style, quality, and value. One negative was the packaging: came "folded" (not carefully) and stuffed in an approximately 9x13-inch bag, so fairly wrinkled, though I can fix that with my steamer. Otherwise recommended.

This is a great evening dress! I was looking at several burgundy dresses but the positive reviews convinced me to order this one. It is a very substantial fabric, the color is rich and it’s extremely flattering! I’m 5’4” 160# and ordered a large. The front ruffle and ruching at waist hide that tummy pooch we don’t like. The offset slit that opens to just above the knee gives just the right touch of sex appeal while still being classy. And with a little stretch, it is very comfortable. You can wear it all night and be fabulous! Don’t hesitate, ladies!

This black dress was nice and thick, making it very comfortable to wear. I originally ordered it for a last-minute cruise, but I ended up preferring a different dress. That said, it would have kept me warm enough, and it had a good amount of stretch for a flattering fit. Overall, a solid option if you're looking for comfort and warmth.

I was a bit nervous buying a dress online, but I just wasn't having luck in my local stores. It fit perfectly and is exactly what I need for a Sunday morning wedding in April where floor length, black dresses, are requested by the bride. I am 5'4", 115 lbs, and it is very flattering. So happy with this flattering dress. It hugs & enhances the right places but hides imperfections, thanks to the fabric quality (medium-weight stretchy crepe) and the cut/design. The sewing is good quality too. I bought the purple, which I like, and now want it in another color (maybe wine red).

Ordered a Large but sent a Medium. I did not have time to return and get correct size so I had to wear it anyway. It was tight in the bust area and arms so that was a bit uncomfortable, but other than that it was ok. Material is thick enough you don't have to wear a slip so no see through.

This dress is true to royal blue color shown. I'm 5'3" and 136lbs. The medium fit was perfect for me and the length is perfect in 2 inch heels. I put a beautiful faux pearl and CZ broach where the pleat falls in the front with drop pearl earrings and silver satin open toe shoes. BEAUTIFUL. The material is flowing and moves well. I had to steam wrinkles out with no problem. For tall girls this would probably be above ankle length. Great purchase and very satisfied.

I ordered this dress for a wedding and I needed to coordinate with the wedding party. The dress fit really well. I ordered the XL and I am a size 14/16 in most brands. The dress is very fitted, but the gathering in the front makes for a very flattering fit over my middle-aged mom belly and the fabric has a bit of stretch. The arm holes of the dress are high enough and the shoulders are wide enough that I didn't have to buy any special bras to wear with it. The slit comes just above the knee for me-- I am 5'8". I ordered the dark green. The shade of green was a little on the cool side, but it still more green than blue. I was worried that the dress might be more teal than green, but the green was a good match to the green in the tartan of the groom's kilt.
