Good source of fucose
This brings back memories of childhood. I take a teaspoon of this every day. Only figs contain a sugar called fucose, which can help anaerobic bacteria, such as bacteroides, flourish in the large bowel and help complete digestion and the release of important substances needed by the body.

The Kumilio fig syrup ordered yesterday and delivered today has both the 'best before' date and the lot number left blank on all 4 jars. This is unacceptable and could mean that it is already past its best.
