Pickleball Paddle Protection Tape - Paddle Head Edge Guard - Racket Edge Protection Tape -Fit Perfectly Curved Edge -No Wrinkling

The tape feels and looks like a type of vinyl. It's held up extremely well. The edge of my new paddle ($200 ProKennex Pro Flight) was receiving quite a few dings and chips (mostly from partner paddle collisions) prior to applying this tape. One chip was a good half inch long (rather like a chunk was removed from the edge). It's weird that this paddle is extremely fragile on the edges because I have and older model that has held up quite well for over 2 years. I love the way this paddle plays, but I don't know what they changed to make it so fragile. Prior to applying this tape, I was afraid the paddle might self-destruct eventually. This tape has really been a godsend for my paddle.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I specifically wanted a solid orange color. Most sellers don't carry orange.Stickiness:Here is the major problem I have with this. It doesn't stay attached to the paddle edge. It sticks on and in a few hours it starts to peel off, particularly around the edges. I suspect this is old stock? UPDATE! After being approached by the seller, who offered me a set of replacement guard tapes, I am happy to report that new ones are very sticky and stay put.Size:The size was good. ~ 29 7/8" by 1 1/16"Design:The design is good as there are cut outs to prevent bumps in the tape.Fit:The fit is goodWeight:They are very light , no weight issue.Durability:It is a robust, thick tape.

I just replaced the Selkirk tape with this tape. It’s a little bit thicker tape that’s why they are nachos for the corners. Period I hope it works as well. If not better than the Sellkirk tape. It was easy to apply and I will increase it to a five star rating after I’ve used it for a few weeks.

Alright so apparently I hit the top of my pickleball paddle often. These edge tapes have saved my paddle from being destroyed.They come in a set of three and I’m already on my second one. It’s not the tapes fault. The ground hit my paddle and the tape saved it.Would recommend if you hit your paddle on the ground like I do.

The notches not only eliminate bunching but also allow for easier centering. I also appreciate the lack of logos or graphics on the solid black version.

Excellent edge protection for my paddle. I decided not to go with similar edge guard from the manufacturer based on price. This was the same price but came with multiple items. I have hit the court a couple times and no damage to my paddle so I am very happy about that. Very easy to install and great design.

These are really spongy and easy to nick, and the color on the inside is bright white. So the gray color lasts all of a minute and then looks horrible

Fits well. If you’re OCD like me Just make sure you pre measure so that the beginning of the tape ends symmetrically on the other side of the paddle’s edge.
