Works Well On Wife's Jeep
Works well on my wife's Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. They arrived on time and packed securely. The hardware feels well made and, if you have even a little mechanical understanding, you'll have both pedals on and tweaked where you want them in little over an hour. The instructions are universal and the pictures provided are a bit to dark to get a good idea of some steps so you will have to configure them best effort on your own vehicle. My wife is 5' 2" and needed about 3.5" of extra length so I didn't need all the extensions provided. My only issue is that they do not come off easily. I now have to move my seat back all the way and raise it a tad to fit comfortably but the pedals themselves don't feel any different than before. I understand the risk of slippage or them falling off while driving if they were easily removable though.

Good unit! Boxed transformer
Great unit.. Directions could use a little tweeking for a first timer... Not very difficult to figure out with a little thought.. But, it works great. Also, looks like a transformer when coming out of box... don't get intimidated...lol

50-50 on installation
The brake petal extension installation is straight forward. For the gas petal, the brackets were in even, 2 on one side and 4 on the other. I had to undo the bracket holders to install as they were located exactly where I needed to install the front bolt. The pictures and manual are confusing. Will update this review after a few weeks of use.

These were exactly what I needed!
I'm 4 foot 9 inches tall. I have always had to pull the seat forward as far as it will go and when airbags became standard, I began to worry about my being too close. Then I got a new car and I never felt comfortable driving it because I couldn't see across the hood. I thought it was a height thing but then I realized it was my seating position. Contrary to how it sounds but I was too close to the steering wheel and my entire seating position was simply awkward and it affected my ability to drive the car.I purchased these pedal extenders and I was worried whether they'd fit my car but they did fit with a couple minor modifications and I'll detail what I had to do. First, as long as you're capable of using a wrench and are ok with crawling under the steering wheel, you can install these pedal extenders. Because of the tools and some mechanical capability that is needed, there is a moderate to low level of a challenge required. Next, once I had decided the distance I needed (about 5 inches given that is about the max the accelerator extender allows) I set to install the extenders. Because of how the pedals are configured on my car, I needed to install the brake extender upside down. It still worked but I had to figure that out. The accelerator extender went on as described however, I had to reverse the screws that lock onto the back of the pedal. I used the threaded part of the screw to give it extra holding power as the plug ends didn't grab enough. Once I made these two modifications, the pedals worked perfectly and now I am able to sit back away from the steering wheel just as anyone else who is over 5' 5" would. I have never had more visibility as I can now see out the front side and back side windows. The back side windows were always too far behind me to turn around that far to easily see out of them. I also feel like I can use my arms to better control the steering wheel and hence, better control the car. It is also easier to get into and out of the car because I'm not squeezing myself in between the seat and the steering wheel. These extenders have changed my driving life! I'm so glad such things are now available on Amazon to order over the Web! When I looked into getting them years ago, they were only available through customizers and they were much more expensive and some altered the car. (Had to be screwed in or replaced the pedals) Since I could install these myself, I will be taking these with me and putting them into every car I own in the future!

difficult to install
I bought these in August for my Motor Home--dash and pedals are for a Ford Triton 10 truck. The gas pedal was very difficult to install and in a couple of places the instructions are inadequate or were written someone who has never installed one. The brake pedal extension could not be used. The supplied vertical plate that sits on the installed brake pedal is 3.75" deep and is supposed to be held in place by two bolts that run through a back plate over the installed pedal. My installed pedal is 4" square, impossible to use. Strongly recommend you choose another product or be sure to measure you pedals first. I installed an extension in my Miata a few years ago that was a breeze by comparison.

Pregnant with twins!
I'm 5'1" and currently 21 weeks pregnant with twins. It was to the point that my belly was touching my steering wheel, and uncomfortable. I had already moved my seat as far back as I could and still reach the pedals, so it was either give these pedal extenders a try, get my husband to shuttle me back and forth to work and everywhere else I need to go, or be house-bound for the rest of my pregnancy. I like my independence, so we gave these a try. It took my husband the better part of the day to install them and get the settings right. I find it a little odd that the brake pedal will stick out quite a bit farther than the gas pedal extender will - but don't really care. My husband was able to give me another 4 inches or so between my belly and the steering wheel. I'm hoping that will take me through the next 3 months or so of this pregnancy. If not, it should at least get me close.Bonus - my husband is 6'2" and says he will still be able to drive my car with these adapters in place. That is necessary since I will not be able to drive myself to or from the hospital when the twins are born, and we won't be able to get all of the necessary carseats in my husband's smaller car for the trip.I'm so very glad these exist! They're keeping me mobile and independent during the 2nd half of my twin pregnancy! Thank you!

Not a good fix for me
Pedals are tiny in comparison to REAL pedals. Also I didn't like all the adjustments from the original pedal to the new pedal, it was like chain and you had to tighten the screws. My immediate concern is that those screws would come lose and require constant tightening. I returned without installing. If you zoom in on the pic you will see all the links on the "extender".
