Let's face it, IEM's are a dime a dozen, and it seems that just about every day there are new offerings from a variety of brands. These can run from $8.95 all the way into the high hundreds of dollars. Interestingly enough, I've run across dozens of budget (below $50 ) IEM's that sounded absolutely superb and fit fairly comfortably in my ear. So when I saw this particular IEM co-opted by Z Pantera (obviously not his real name), I knew I had to try it, since I love visited his You Tube site. The first one I ordered arrived quickly and I knew right away that it was used and obviously returned by someone else. There was no cellophane covering and the box was placed in a make-shift bag. In addition, the ear piece bags were opened with a pair sitting outside the box. I returned it quickly for a replacement, and Amazon vendor quickly sent out another one. When the replacement arrived, I set about trying various ear plugs/pieces to see which worked best. And to be quite honest here, initially I wasn't too impressed, however, I was determined to give them a long period of use (and I'm glad that I did). In fact, I've edited this review - which started out with only 3 stars - to reflect the full 5 stars. Since the time I first tried this BLON x7's, I've also ordered 6 more IEM's, ranging in price from $10.95 to $99.95, and the one area that bothered me about all those was that they were very uncomfortable to wear, and they wouldn't stay put in my ears. Now to be honest, I do keep my ears very clean with little to no wax, and I realize that the more was may have in their ears, the better fit when it comes to IEM's. Yet each and every time I came back to the BLON x 7's, I was impressed at how well they fit (and sounded). So after a few months, I went from my so-so 3 star review, to one that reflected 5 stars for both fit and sound. So some folks may hate them, while others will love them. All I know is that with an extended try-out period, I've come to love them - which turned out to be a full 180 on what I initially reported on. I can wear these for hours with no discomfort at all and the sound is superb - meaning, that if your music source is of stellar quality, that's what you'll get from these BLON x 7's. If the source is less than ideal, that's exactly what you'll get - not very good sound. I heartily recommend these.

What can I say the he(Zeo's) hasn't said already on his YouTube channel, I would recommend getting his render tips for that bass. The only thing I have a problem with is that I look like I've nicked my daughter's IEMs, there tiny and cute, and girlie coloured too. So use em outside at your own peril.

Comfortable, great sounding daily driver with an amazing cable and a great price

On an iphone - using just the apple lightening adapter - take a with a grain of salt. I put these up against my Campfire Audio Andromeda which are more than 10x the price. Actually the math says 15x the price. Ok, so they are not as good, but they get awfully close. Nothing wrong with the sound signature, just a hair warm. Highs are pleasant. Good dynamics. OK soundstage. This is where the Andromedas beat these. But for the money..... I'm likely going to sell my CA buds because these are good enough to be daily driven off my iPhone. I might try a good dongle DAC later.
