Brewskey is awesome
This little key is perfect for opening a beer when you aren't at home to have a proper bottle opener.I have used the cheap plastic bottle openers, I am lucky if those open one beer bottle before breaking. I have had a few other key-chain bottle openers, but those ones that work are always too bulky, so I end up not keeping them on my keychain so they are then useless for something quick and easy.Well this has been just what I was looking for....something that will get used probably a couple times per week when I'm out somewhere, and something that actually works. I have just used it today to open 2 bottles, and yes, it takes a little getting used to, as some other reviews complain of not having enough leverage, which I agree. But this is overcome by that fact that you just have to place your finger underneath the key part, and lift up. It's a little funny at first, but this key is well built, it will not bend without an extreme amount of force, and so it should last forever just opening beers/bottles.Fits nicely on the keychain, looks like any old regular key, until the moment that you need it, then it becomes an awesome tool to be revered and cherished. I was tempted to buy some of the more expensive keychain/key style openers, but I am glad I bought this. It's cheap and effective.

This thing is awesome!
I normally don't write reviews, but I figured I'd do one just for the hell of it.I purchased this nifty little bottle opener a few weeks ago and it is amazing. It's light but strong and, with proper technique, you can open any bottle anywhere. It IS harder to use than a traditional bottle opener. You need to hook the opener EXACTLY below a ridge of the cap before applying leverage. It's not that hard to do, but it will probably take you a few tries to open a bottle at first. Once you get used to it, it works pretty well and you'll open most bottles in one try.Is this worth replacing your main bottle opener for? Probably not. You trade efficiency for tiny size and a nice look. But having a bottle opener on you when you need to open a few beers is worth five bucks IMO. This thing is built to last! The only con (besides the learning curve) is that it feels so much like a key that I sometimes try to open my door with it!

Stylish, functional, small, perfect!
I've seen some reviewers on here complain about using this, saying that it's difficult to use.On the contrary, I actually find myself preferring this to my full-sized bottle cap remover. It doesn't slip off as easily, and even though it might not be as comfortable as you're pushing against it for leverage (compared to a full-sized bottle opener with a handle), I find it faster and more effective. And of course, it's convenient. it doesn't take up much more space on your keyring than your other keys, just slightly longer. Which I like since it helps me to identify which key ring I'm grabbing as I'm sticking my hand in my pocket. And of course, it's cool. I find myself using it every opportunity I get, just to hear the comments from people about how cool it is that I have a key that opens bottles. And it's called the brewzkey. Like brewski. HahaAnd to top it all off, it's cheap. Very satisfied with my purchase

I'm happy, but wish it was smaller.
I held off on getting a key chain bottle opener for a long time because I really didn't want to be that guy who drank so much that he needed a bottle opener constantly at the ready. But it occurred to me after going to a series of parties where I was on the hunt for a bottle opener that maybe I should just face facts that a keychain bottle opener was totally practical (or that maybe I was "that guy" after all).Seeing as I like to keep my keychain as compact as possible I wanted a low-profile bottle opener, and figured that there must be one as slim as a key. Sure enough, the Brewzkey existed after a quick Amazon search! Only downside is that it's bigger than a standard key (which seems unnecessary), but otherwise it works great. You have to be a bit more precise than with a standard opener, but it's a worthwhile hassle for the reduced bulk. As a bonus the rounded serrations at the end work for opening tape on packages. Also for anyone else in my boat, who didn't want to be the guy with the bottle opener on his keychain, it's actually proven quite useful. I feel kind of dumb for not having done this ten years ago.

A great beer opener, sure to please beer drinkers and pun enthusiasts alike.
I like that I can now keep a beer-opener on me at all times, without looking like a raging alcoholic. In fact, some people equate having more keys with having more responsibility... so having this BrewsKey not only camouflages my affinity for beer, but also makes me look more responsible! It's also a great conversation piece, and actually works well at opening beer bottles. It feels sturdy, and seems like it will last a while. I've owned another key-shaped beer opener, but it looked more like a piano key or skeleton key. It was cool, but the 'delicate' shape of it didn't hold up and the beer tops eventually wore it down to an unusable nub. I've used this one quite a bit, and there's not even a scratch on it.There is a bit of getting used-to in how you hold it when opening a beer, since the bottle is opened at the mid-point of the key instead of at the end like with regular beer openers. Once you get the technique, it's easy enough though. If I had invented this, I'd have called it "The Key To My Hops" which probably wouldn't have sold as well.
