Great quality safe for reasonable price!
After looking at numerous small closet safes, both at local big box stores and on line, I found this safe which had everything I needed. The size is perfect for a small closet or bedroom and is big enough to conveniently store many items easily. I placed a standard one inch 3-ring binder inside to show the spacious interior of this safe. The removable shelf is also a plus!. The locking device is easy to program and has several redundancy features (key pad, key, and external battery jump-pack) that is welcome peace of mind. There are several mounting holes alone the rear wall and floor of the safe for added security. The general construction of the safe is well made and with three 1" cross throw bolts, it will take awhile to break into. All in all, this safe is a fantastic value for price and will easily meet or exceed the basic mission requirements of safely storing valuables or firearms. All mounting hardware is included, minus AA batteries. I highly recommend it.

Damaged when received and did not sound sturdy it was like a big tin box, I returned it.

Ok but not what I Expected
It looks nice and the size is perfect for my needs, but as others have said, the code entry is terrible. You have to coordinate very precisely how you press the code and then press the final button to actually open the door. It is sooooo frustrating because the timing is so exact that it can take a dozen attempts (if you're lucky) before the door will unlock. Who wants to deal with that every time? So I just use the key instead.

A great value
I bought this for my daughter and son in law for Christmas. They had asked for a fire proof strongbox. When I saw this actual safe and the price point I knew this was a much better way to go. They were thrilled.

Nice safe for the money but plan on bolting it to something heavy because it it pretty light.
