Perfect for kids & adults to gain knowledge!!
I bought this for myself so I can learn more about electrical circuit’s & components. I am a 100% hands on learner so books & online classes are no help to me. I am a 26 year old mechanic. Electrical work has never been my specialty so I bought this to learn and better my skills. This kit is absolutely amazing and worth every penny, by far the best kit to buy.

Excellent set that starts with tried and true old style basics
I'm an electrical engineer, and when I began with electronics around age 10, I used a simple kit that included basic switches, wires, resistors and electromagnets. It was old school, ... but old school taught the basics in a very lucid manner that made the concepts of voltage, current, and resistance stand out. In today's world, there are sets like Snap Circuits, but the only lesson that most children take away from those kits, ... is how to snap stuff together. They are not learning the proper conceptualization behind V= IR. Snap Circuits teaches nothing about the total flowing number of electrons per unit time (the current), .. nor does it give children a good idea of how watts actually means the amount of electrical work done (or how this can be expressed as an easy integral). This kit begins with the most basic of basics, ... one battery, one wire and one light bulb. From there it progresses through 17 different important aspect of simple circuits. And the components are high quality and arranged neatly. Each experiment demonstrates a clear concept even to children who typically find electronics and electricity confusing. I have used this set with my son for almost two years now, and I would rate it five stars. Good for parents and excellent for schooling supplementation.

Good, but!
Excellent ideas for experiments with a range of tools and equipment. But the materials are of low grade. A magnet broke on the first use, and a bulb holder lost its grip on the first use. These kinds of failures reduce the confidence of the young user. She or he cannot know if an experiment's failure was due to her or his error or due to equipment failure.

Electricity expts great, Magnetism expts poor
I liked the electricity experiments very much. The instructions were clear. The experiments taught electricity concepts and equations thru hands on experiments. The magnetism experiments were poor. In expt. 11, the compass needle tended to stick and not float freely. The metal filings did not align with the magnetic field. They moved around, but randomly. In expt. 12, the compass would not fit under the rails. The double rail module base had a raised segment that was too high for the compass. In expt. 13, there was no separate solenoid included. The only solenoid was part of the electric bell module and could not be removed.

Great Educational Kit
Very nice clear and basic STEM kit. The instruction book was surprisingly well written with clear experiments and exercises. For the younger kids, it offers them their first opportunity to see the value of a data table and learn how to create and interpret a simple graph. My set came with a malfunctioning compass and was missing the horseshoe magnet. This issue was addressed by Teenii within 24 hours. Great customer service/support. Will probably be buying their associated optics kit after we finish with the electronics and magnetism kit.

I am excitedly surprised. Looks like child intent but is very suitable for adult.
Looks like child intent but is very suitable for adult. The components are large and colorful which makes them look toyish but they are easy to handle.I chose it for simplicity in basic Ohms law to begin to train my teenage grandson before robotics.I had fun reviewing the manual which is comprehensive but easy on the eyes and brain. The schematics are large and plainly drawn. Math formulas are plainly presented and well instructed. The separate volt-meter and ammeter, and that they are analog rather than digital, is a plus.
