Kubernetes & Persistent Storage
Another review comments "So I would expect to tell me how to persist data in a container. It only enumerates the kind of volumes and volume claims that you can use."Kubernetes containers (pods) are ephemeral. Data with containers cannot be persisted. Because containers are ephemeral, data associated with containers can be lost once the container is terminated or crashes. Which is why for persistent storage Persistent Volume Claims and Persistent Volumes have to be used.

Not worth a penny
The quality of this book is very low, you can get all that information from Kubernetes official documentation. I expected to find some "good practices", procedures, the way of doing things so I can avoid making mistakes, etc.For instance, it talks about data in containers. So I would expect to tell me how to persist data in a container. It only enumerates the kind of volumes and volume claims that you can use. Pointless...The writing style is boring and redundant. It doesn't add any value! Not worth a penny. The ebook formatting is really bad, both in my kindle and in the browser reader. Sections are bad structured, the font is in bold for half a chapter and suddenly changes, etc
