Honestly Impressed
I wasn't going to write a review of this, but after wearing it during my last run I'd have to say- I'm impressed.I've been casually running for 6-7 years. Foolishly, when I first started as a young teen I was stubborn (and broke) and ran only in Converse (yes, cringe away). I learned the hard way that running shoes DO make a difference after I got shin splints.Fast forward some years and I've been running more frequently, happy that I've dropped the freshman 15 a year ago- but most recently my left ankle has started popping and occasionally hurting.I didn't think that I had weak ankles but I knew that I supinated (underpronated) because my vans and casual shoes were always worn down tremendously on the sides. But since my running shoes were worn down properly (forefoot and heel) I figured I was doing everything right.Well the popping starting to hurt once in a while- which was unusual for me- and though I had taken a break from running for 2 weeks, the popping continued- like I was an old woman getting up first thing in the morning. I mean I've always had loud joints, but my ankle never popped this much!I'd just roll my foot around to ease some tension and *pop*!I don't have peroneal tendonitis but I was concerned that I was heading down that road.I started wearing an ace bandage for a week, walking more carefully and not bending my ankles as I normally do while sitting or playing around. I have been more conscious of my ankle rotation and foot placement and don't exaggerate my ankle flexion as much. The popping has gone down considerably and my foot doesn't hurt anymore. But I've also been thinking about my running shoes and didn't want to pair my bandage with them. It would get all wet and gross- and it's really thick. Best for regular shoes and house-wear.So I searched on amazon for one I could wear while running and bought this brace thinking it wouldn't do much- but wow!It fits in my running shoe WITH the added insole and my sock!!I didn't think it would provide much support, given as it didn't feel sturdy after putting it on- but my ankle didn't fall into any unnatural movements while wearing it.It kept my ankle nice and straight while I was running and I was so amazed at the difference in feel and form that I am tempted to brace the other one just to try and correct my supination.I think instead I'll just continue wearing this brace on my weaker ankle until I feel it's stable to be alone, and continue the new ankle strengthening exercises I've been working on. I've also invested in some Nike Pegasus 34 shoes- hoping that my efforts will prevent further injury down the line.So why did I knock off a star? Well first of all, it smells of plastic and I've already washed them once and it still smells- but not so much that I can smell it from afar. Just a few inches away I guess. I don't like it, but I'll live. It'll probably go away after a while.Secondly, the fabric DOES itch if not applied in just the right way. In fact, if you can't sweet spot the wrap you'll end up with an itchy spikey spot there, or a chafing spot somewhere else. I really recommend wearing a sock under this. It's totally comfy with the sock (so as long as it's somewhat thin-normal in thickness).Overall, excellent deal- amazing to wear to the gym- and stayed on my foot as I had applied it even through my HIIT.It also absorbed some shock in my heel as I noticed my left leg seemed more comfortable and stable with the brace on than the right one without the brace.Very happy! Glad it came with two as well :D I can wash one and wear the other or use them both at the same time!

Best ankle braces I've ever used!
These are superior quality in both the fabric and construction. The gel grip on the inside of the wrap is fantastic! The Velcro is high quality. The length of the wrap is about two feet. I like the fact that it is mainly a straight strip you can wrap wherever you need more support. If you need more support under your foot arch, you can wrap multiple times around your foot. And if you need more support above the ankle, you can wrap it multiple times around your lower calf above the ankle. These are worth every penny! I have paid the same price for ONE brace of inferior quality. These are the best I've ever used. Highly recommended!

Instant Pain Relief
I started working out hard after my 30th birthday to get back into high school shape. Unfortunately, my ligaments and tendons are not high school age anymore, so I eventually developed tendinitis (PTTD) in my ankle from overuse. I' found it difficult to find any brace to reduce the pain, and the ace bandage wrap can only hold up to so much movement before it loses its hold.So I was ecstatic when I found this brace. Not only did it claim to relieve PTTD pain, but it also came with two braces and seemed easy to use. I received the product on a day my ankle was already hurting from rehab, and the pain was instantly relieved when I used this product. I've used it for 3 days straight now (except showering) working out, doing rehab, etc.; and there have been no signs of wear and tear, no residual odor, and the pain has continuously been relieved. This is such a great product that if it fell apart in 2 months (which it won't) I'd buy it again constantly and just put it on Subscribe and Save. I'd give it 1000 stars if I could!

Really strong and better than average
At the rate that we go through braces in this house I should open up a sports store but these are going to last us for quite some time. These ankle braces are not the typical slip on brace. Although they hook around your ankle, they wrap-around and you custom wrap based on your needs. When I first opened the package I didn't think I was getting the right thing until I saw that these were truly adjustable and very supportive. We can be wearing them while running or playing soccer (as my dsughters do) for instance, as well as just when walking the dogs (which is more my pace, but with old sdports injuries, i need extra suooort1for endurance). They are thick and strong, and wrap as loosely or tightly as you need them .

Awesome support after surgery
Iโve been trying to go back to work bartending after a 3 month recovery from having surgery on my talus. Every shift Iโve worked has been super painful and my ankle swells so much. I finally ordered this ankle brace for my first 10 hour busy Friday night shift since my surgery and it has made a world of difference!!! My ankle is not swollen and I hardly had any pain at all :) if I could give this 6 stars I would. So happy I bought this brace. And it comes with 2 so if you only need it for one ankle like me, then you have an extra!

Great value wrap for plantar fasciitis
i found this wrap to be easy to use. I found with this wrap you can adjust the comfort and compression. I found this wrap was very useful for my plantar fasciitis during the day, especially supporting the front of my heel and top of my arch where my greatest issues. Used with other Plantar Fasciitis sleeves, arch inserts, rollers, etc. I have found relief from my plantar. My only comment would be when storing, important to attach velcro closure so as not to fuzz up the wrap or other surround clothe items.

Healing your Achilles Heel๐ถ
Strained my left ankle & right one was overcompensating. These wraps gave me stability so my ankle can heel. I wear them with socks & hiking boots. Wonderful relief and comfort.
