Great performance for the price and size
Ive been using Thermalright coolers for 20 years and they are consistently top tier quality, value, and performance. This one is super low profile, and has nearly the same performance as it's bigger brothers, up to a point. If you need the lowest profile CPU heatsink with good performance, this is it. Keeps a 65 watt CPU around 65 degrees C in a small low airflow case at 100% usage. I wouldn't use it for CPUs above 100 watts without using a bigger fan or lots of case airflow, but at that point just get the biggest Thermalright HSF that will fit.

Best low profile CPU cooler you can buy
After testing several low profile CPU coolers this one is the best. Does a good job of cooling VRM heatsinks at the same time. This cooler beats my Synth Shuriken 3 39mm cooler by a couple Celsius. Swapping out the stock Fan for a Noctua helped noise and Temps a little as well. For the Price and Performance I can highly recommend this Cooler.

great low profile cooler
has been a great cooler, keeping a cramped itx build at smooth operating temperatures for the 9600x. meant to be mounted on am4 not am5, best keep it in mind before purchasing, other than that its pretty easy to install, its very quiet too

Not For High Performance CPUs, But Good For SFF
The form factor is necessary for the case I was building in, for the size it does quite well. Keeps my Ryzen 5 3600 at around 50 degrees C during normal operation and around 75 degrees C while gaming but it will throttle with synthetic loads like Cinebench. Very happy with the product for the price, but there is one major issue, the included backplate SUCKS. If you are installing on AM4 like I was I highly suggest using the stock backplate as the ThermalRight one likes to bend the motherboard.

Received a used or open-box item
Although I bought a new item, I received a used or open-box item. None was sealed: the package box, accessary box, or even the thermal paste. The worst part of it was the thermal paste: there was enough of it but it was a bit dry. (I am an experienced builder and know what a normal thermal paste looks like) Other than that the cooler itself works as intended. I was able to assemble it to Gigabyte A620I (AM5) ITX motherboard with Ryzen 7600 just fine although the included instruction was useless. Temps are at 50 C while idle and 95 C while stress testing (open case). I suspect the dried thermal paste is the culprit for the high temp and will apply a new thermal paste (another $12) to fix it. Noise wise, it is a bit noisier than Noctua LH-L9 coolers but is within acceptable level. Overall, I think this is a good value CPU cooler (if you can get a new one) for SFF build with up to 65 W TPU CPU.

Excellent fan, nice and quiet.
The single image is THIS device with the FAN and the Heat Sink. The middle image is my old Heat Sink, without a fan (the original fan died, and the second (wrong fan) also died. And the NEW unit (THIS ONE), which is lower profile than the Heat Sink of the original. The right image is the two units closer together. The build of this one is going to be adding more life to my current build of a Desktop, which I put together in 2017. I have 32GB Ram, but my storage is less than what I would like - and I have more capacity for large SSD Drives that did not exist when I built this computer. I love the fan, and the heat sink, and I was able to install this new setup without having to remove all the cables on the Micro ITX main board. I did have to pull the video card, but that was easy enough, and I kept those power cables connected as well - I DID, of course, unplug the power! LOL. It was an easy to use install, excellent instructions, and everything I needed to get it done right... I love my desktop computer again! Five Stars!

Super quiet highly efficient low profile Heat Sink
Excellent CPU heat sink! Super quiet and super low profile! Great for very small form factor PCs!

Excellent low-profile solution.
I never ceased to be amazed at the quality of the products Thermalright puts out. Take this product for example, it cost only 22 dollars, compare it to the Noctua which retails for almost twice! I have tried both and I honestly believe this is a better solution than the Noctua.

Muy bueno lo utilice en un gabinete al que no le cabe un cooler de tamaño convencional y las temperaturas son razonables.

I wish this didnt need its own backplate and just used the AM4/AM5 backplate, other than that this is a great CPU cooler

Lo he usado para múltiples construcciones, tanto con un 13400 de Intel y un 5600G de AMD, con el de Intel le costó un poco más aguantar las temperaturas, pero solo navegando en internet estuvo muy bien
