Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul: Stories of Life, Love and Learning (Chicken Soup for the Soul) Paperback – August 28, 2012

I purchased this for my niece. She’s a teenager and is a little confused about the things that she’s feeling. Growing up these books got me through so many hard times and made me feel like someone else understood me so I’m hoping I can get that message across to her.

I read this in my teens (I'm now in my 30's). This book is good for the hard conversations and puts it into perspective for the age that is reading it. I believe 15 and up is a great age for this book.

I remember reading this when I was a teenager, so I bought it for my 13 year old sister and she absolutely loved it, she usually isn't much of a reader but she hasn't put this book down.

I read this dozens of times when I was a teenager in the early 2000s. It’s such a good book for young people who feel lost, insecure or otherwise freaked out about puberty and all that comes with growing up. It provides readers with some reassurance that there are difficult things in life, but also beautiful things as well. I just sent a copy to my 13 year old niece. I really hope she puts her phone down long enough to get hooked on this series. I highly recommend. Just do it.

I purchased this February 2023 for my 12 year old daughter who was struggling adjusting to a difficult and toxic middle school. I begged her to read this book. It’s May 2024, she finally read the book. Today my now 13 year old daughter thanked me for buying it and said it was her new favorite.

I grew up with this when I was a pre-teen into my teen years and some stories stuck with me and got me through life. I bought this for my daughters 13th birthday, in hopes she will take a liking to it as well. She's read some and it was an eye opener for her. Needless to say I'm glad its still around, and hope it helps her like it did me.
