Fantastic Fanatic
I love this magazine. The light, informative and occasionally amusingly irreverent writing is just great. The amount of information crammed into this issue is impressive and none of it is time sensitive - you can any enjoy back issues as much as the current one. Recommended.

Amazing magazine
What an amazing find this magazine was- I have also purchased the previous issue 46. It is well illustrated throughout- mostly colour images. The articles are well written and detailed. Paperback Fanatic is an absolute must if you are a vintage paperback collector or just a general reader. I really recommend this.

Superb Magazine For Paperback Enthusiasts
The numerous well-illustrated and thoroughly researched articles offered me many things that I was previously unaware of. The checklists for specific paperback series and topics are worth highlighting - more of them, please. The same is true for the color illustrations throughout. - - Conclusion: Indispensable and absolutely recommendable.

Good color issue
This issue covers The Falcon, The Crusader, paperback gothics, rip offs of the "dirty book" Candy, George H. Smith novels such as Witch Queen of Lochlann and The Second War of the Worlds, Horwitz paperbacks, Mickey Spillane, Clifford D. Simak, Josephine Tey, standing stones in horror and fantasy fiction in the 1970s with a lot of color covers, books for kids that concern "the troubles," Carousel paperbacks with a checklist, Terry Southern, Kung Fu Master, Six-Gun Samurai, Ninja Master, The Kung Fu Avengers, Chant, Shadow Warrior, Longarm, Max Alan Collins, the pulp zine Mystery Tales, and Conan. As usual, packed with pics, a number of which are delightfully lurid.
