Liking Italian Sweets Honey Hard Candies 1 kg

I bought these as I had sore throat and couldn't take any medication being pregnant, that really helped, it's like having a teaspoon of honey ready to go! I didn't realise how big the pack was, good value for price in comparison with all the supposed "natural losenges" that cost a lot for pretend claims!

These are the best sweets I have ever tasted! I’ve had a sore throat and cough and wanted something to soothe it but without the menthol chemically taste you get with most lozenges. I came across these and they have soothed my throat no end I actually feel a lot better today after sucking 5 of these beauties throughout the day yesterday and the liquid honey centre is just beautiful so smooth at gentle on the throat. The flavour is perfect, the size of the bag is huge I’m so glad I’ve got all these honey sweets to last through the winter colds, better than any throat lozenges they are my new go to when anyone has a tickle or sniffle.

Lady Sfb has stolen all the best words I was going to use for my review like yummy and scrummy, it's not fair! From the moment these sweets first enter your mouth to swallowing the last morsel it's honey pleasure all the way, and rich tasty honey as well. Hard and crunchy on the outside, chewy near the middle and a liquid honey centre, they're yummy!Unlike Lady Sfb I do have the willpower and can easily suck the sweets slowly and lovingly, barely able to wait until my mouth fills with that gorgeous honey. I'll definitely be buying more so you better be quick or I'll have them. I do like the flavour of these sweets but sadly mine arrived with a great big gooey mass of sweets all stuck together in the middle of the bag so that was a bit horrible and made most of the sweets inside sticky so very disappointing.

These taste nice, quite a floral sweetness. However I got quite a strong sulphite allergic reaction from them. It is not labelled on the ingredients, but the glucose syrup used must be quite high in sulphur dioxide given the response I had.

I had been looking for these exact honey filled candies for YEARS! My grandmother used to get them from a friend when I was a child, the last time getting them when I was around the age of 7. One day, 17 years later, I had the idea to look on Amazon, and went through 2 other brands of honey candies (which were nowhere near as good as these) until I found these. Have ordered several times for both myself and my grandmother who was overjoyed! Fast delivery, extremely good value for money.

If you like honey you will love these sweets. First had them whilst in Italy. Would highly recommend. Quick delivery, and price reasonable.

These seemed a bit expensive but the bag is huge - if you don't like all the artificial tastes of standard boiled sweets these are for you. I Will be sending for more!
