Great addition for elderly gardeners.
These work great, especially for us old folks. Brass quality. No more hard-to-turn faucet handles. Red handle does fade in the sun after a few years, but still remain soft, so far. (3 years). This is my third purchase. I also have a split version, which is great for 2 hoses.

Great for watering wand - best design
This one works. Great water flow and does not leak around the hose on the input side. Robust and quality made this should last for years and years. I use it for a watering wand.

Nice part. Looks to be holding up...
Used on my sprinkler system tap for my hose. Fit what I wanted to do. Shuts off completely. If it lasts, I iwll be very thankful. Only used one season but so far it has been great!

A good connection.
Excellent, solid piece of hardware. One easy twist and the water flows. Good for people who have limitations or the lack of strength to turn a valve many times. The rubber gasket does not seem to fit. Neither do the extras they include. I had to find a smaller one to push all the way down. If that doesn’t work, used two. Still highly recommend.

Simple, reliable, durable. What more could you want?
The headline gives it away, but I'm very pleased with these things. They're heavy brass, not cheap plastic, and I have them on the end of every hose. A four pack here is the same price as two at a big box store. Fantastic value.

It split
This item split with no pressure on it. It only had pressure on it when the main faucet was turned on, this was used as a secondary valve. It just stayed outside.

Solid
Works fine and no leaks. Really like this more than the regular faucets, this is worth every penny. Easier to open and the rubber cover makes it better in summer.

Developed a hairline crack in the valve body
After one season this valve failed. The body of the valve developed a hairline crack. It was never exposed to ice as the water source was shut off over winter and the valve was left open. It was only used once in the Fall and when we turned it on late this Spring the body sprayed water out right along the lorizontal hairline crack in the middle of the valve body. The crack was not there in the Fall. Clearly this brass casting was poorly made.
